I learned a lot about Canada by reading this post. I reside in the United States. I did not know that Canada has a national day on September 30 called “Truth & Reconciliation.” To quote the author, “It is a day that honours residential school survivors, and a day for us to remember all the children that didn’t come home from the residential schools.” How beautiful and meaningful to foster this kind of compassion.
If you want some nice examples of French culture, read the post. For instance, you’ll be reminded about the Seine River and Crêpes Suzette.
