Blogger Collaboration Group

How can you save time on blog promotion?

Join the Mostly Blogging Blogger Collaboration Group and get help from other bloggers.

BloggerIn honor of St. Patrick’s Day, we are starting a blogger collaboration group.

It’s very rare that a blogger will be successful without the help of other bloggers.

In fact, bloggers who are just starting out often rely on the help of other bloggers to build their followers and gather interest in their blog.

You shouldn’t have to do all the time-consuming tasks involved in blogging by yourself if other people can help you. Other bloggers can certainly help you promote your articles.

This is a follow-up to the popular post How to Increase Traffic with Blogger Collaboration.

What does this have to do with St. Patrick’s Day?

People make a wish on a four-leaf clover.

Bloggers can leave a wish in the comment section.

What is your blogging wish?

Please leave your link and your wish for your post.

Would you like comments on the post? A share? A like? Do you need a like for your Facebook page?

Instructions for how to help another blogger:

Step 1: Subscribe to this blog.

Step 2: Leave your post link (not your blog link) in the comment section of this page.

Step 3: Leave your wish for your article in the same comment box.

Step 4: Go to the comment section on this page and make at least one other blogger’s wish come true.

Step 5: Click Reply, Done, so other bloggers know who has already received help with a post.

Step 6: Smile! You just helped make another blogger’s wish come true.

Please share, so other bloggers know about our group and how they can get help with their blog promotion.

This is such a fabulous idea. But of course it is, look who conceived it!

When you wish upon a star….. Oops, wrong gig!

My wish is for the link I am leaving in this comment (a humorous menu for Bloggers) to become hugely popular amongst all writers. (And I always respond to comments left there!)

When I return home from work this evening, I will also make bloggers’ wishes come true.
      Janice

      • Stephanie

You’re so welcome! Just trying to figure this all out. My 2nd comment was blocked as a duplicate. I was attempting to reply to another blogger to let her know I sent a request to join her FB group. Perhaps I did something wrong…

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Stephanie,
I just wrote you on the post. Once again, here is my reply:
      Hi Stephanie,
Oh no, my first comment, and my first challenge. I am stumped! I don’t know how to make your post more widely popular among readers than it already is. I just came from there. Your post is a hit! Quite an engaged community!
      Janice

So my wish is that you will share our blog, this wonderful reeses peanut butter cup milkshake and help us reach 100 views (visitors would be even better) today. Thank you so much.

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Peter,
      1. I shared your Jennifer Lawrence information across my social media which should give you more exposure.
      2. What is VKonkate? I saw you have a social sharing button for it. Does it bring you blog traffic? If yes, you are welcome to guest post about the site for my readers. You could explain what it is and how it benefits bloggers. That should also gain you exposure and get you a link to your site which will help with SEO. Here is the criteria if you are interested https://mostlyblogging.com/write-for-mostly-blogging/
      3. You’d mentioned getting new subscribers. Have you been added to our Follow to Follow Directory? I don’t see your name. If you want, I can add your blog to the directory. If you start networking bottom up, and tell people you found them on the MostlyBlogging Follow to Follow Directory, you should have people subscribe to your blog within three days. You need to subscribe to them too.
      https://mostlyblogging.com/how-to-get-new-blog-followers/
You compared me to a modern-day Santa, hey, I appreciate it!! What better reward is there? Big smiles over here when I read it. Thank you!
      Janice

      • Peter English

        Hello Janice..

I am simply out of words for thanking you..

        1. I get a number of visitors from your blog..via comments. Some nice souls even shared my posts.. grrrr8

2,, VKontacte.. not much sure about that .. a Russian social network.. it was there among options so I included that! 🙂

        3. I have subscribed to the blog, but i get this message: “The email address has opted out of subscription emails. ” Not sure what is happening.. If you can add my email there, I will be thankful..

The list of 79 ways for increasing blog traffic.. it is simply awesome

Overall, I am getting a steady stream of visitors, I will be able to put some ads to monetize my site soon.

        Will keep you posted.
        Peter

        • Janice Wald

          Hi Peter,
Thank you for trying to subscribe to my blog. For some reason, I thought we had ironed out the kinks when I didn’t get notification last time.
When I tried to add your Email, I get the same error message as you do– that you had opted out of subscription Emails. People who get that message go to WordPress.com, and then click “Manage” or “Manage Subscription”, and they are able to rectify the situation. You might try that.
In the meantime, I took the liberty of adding your Email to my MailChimp Email list, so you can get notifications of my posts that way. Thank you for your interest and your support of my blog.
As far as your complimentary remarks– thank you so much. I can’t tell you how rewarding it feels to read them.
          Janice

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Leanne,
Thank you for your kind words about my idea. I shared your post across Pinterest, Twitter, and Google+. Thank you for making bloggers’ wishes come true.
      Janice

    • Dana

Enjoy the breeze will be my mantra for today. I really like how you set the article up and, if you haven’t already, think there is even more there as it comes to addressing comparisons or how we talk about children as thought they aren’t there own people, etc.

      Wish granted: Twitter & Stumbled.

      Thank you for sharing.

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Sinziana,
It doesn’t look I ever responded to this. My apologies. I didn’t see it. Thank you for such wonderful compliments!
      Janice

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Katie,
To get your blog more exposure, I shared your diabetes post on StumbleUpon and Google+.
You need to find like-minded bloggers.
I went to Facebook and searched diabetes. I saw two groups with thousands of members each. Here is a link to the bigger group:
      https://www.facebook.com/groups/230501157103653/
By searching your niche (health?) at Facebook, you will find like-minded bloggers. Often Facebook groups have daily threads where you could meet people who’d be interested in your articles.
Twitter hashtags, health, diabetes… should also help find like-minded bloggers who would check out your articles if you check out their articles. Ask them to. “Maybe you could check out my site…”
      Janice

      • Janice Wald

Please write back and let me know how your efforts at Facebook and Twitter go to find like-minded bloggers.
        1. Find them.
        2. Comment on their post and
        3. Ask them to check out your blog.
        Janice

    • LuAnn Braley

Hi Katie, I commented on that post and about your new wheels. Following the blog and on Pinterest. Have a great weekend!

    • Dana

I stopped by and left a comment. Banana bread is always a success for me when on a quest for sweets. Happy Friday!

      • LuAnn Braley

Hi Lisa, I commented on the Banana Bread recipe and the Peanut Butter Cookie recipe, did a tweet on the former. Now I’m hungry! :O)

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Lisa,
I believe I went there last night and commented about how I love banana bread with chocolate chips and walnuts. If I didn’t, let me know, and I will be sure to come by. Nice seeing that others came by to your recipe today from our Blogger Collaboration Group.
      Janice

    • Riki

Stopped by your site after seeing it here. Left a comment and signed up for email alerts about future posts. By the way, I love carrot cake…just in case you needed some inspiration for your next post.

      • Janice Wald

        Hi Riki,
Thanks for helping make our bloggers’ wishes come true!
        Janice

  9. Gary Jefferies

Well, found the link to here and what a cracking idea…I’m after feedback on my blog and writing…anything that might improve either or reach out to wider audiences. Sadly my skills in the wider aspects of social media are a shade blah…so any help from you lovely people would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance and have a wonderful weekend wherever you are ?

    https://fictionisfood.wordpress.com/2016/05/05/an-absent-child/#more-570

    • LuAnn Braley

Hi Gary, went to that story and to the “Room That Swallows People”. Commented on both, shared the latter to google+.

I would help to have buttons for your social media accounts right on the blog, although it’s entirely possible I just did not see them.

      • Gary Jefferies

Hi LuAnn, thank you so much. This is all very new to me even though I’ve followed Janice for a while now. These network things are intimidating when you know nothing ? I’m hoping over time I will be able to reciprocate all the kindness everyone’s showing me and in turn help new people do what you are all doing for me.

The buttons should be there on the full posts…or they were when I last looked!! Will check now though in case I’ve mucked something up ?

Correction I checked and you are right they’ve missappeared ?

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Gary,
I just came from your site– scary stuff. Good thing it’s still broad daylight here in California.
      Janice

        • Gary Jefferies

          Thank you so much ?

I think I might work on Google Plus a bit next….just to get some sort of following going….not quite worked that out yet and don’t spend enough time on it to learn at the moment. I really must go through my followers here and connect on platforms they are in that I currently have. Then work down this collaboration list….at this rate I’ll never write anything ?

    • Gary Jefferies

Well, I’ve theoretically left a comment and shared your recent post to Twitter and Google Plus…..hope it works but newbie in the house ?

    • Janice Wald

      Hi LuAnn,
Thanks so much for the help today making bloggers’ wishes come true!
I shared your story on my Books Pinterest board and left a comment. Thanks for coming by. Great to see you. I am always happy to help.
      Janice

  10. Abraham Ofhisglory

    Dear friends in Jesus Christ,
I have only one wish and that is I want all of you to have peace, love and Joy.
And though it can be attained through a many ways, but praying helps the process.
And Jesus said Ask and you will receive, so come let us ask, let us join our hands in prayer.
If even one of you would turn up and pray just for a Minuit, my heart will be satisfied.
And if you think that the world is too much noisy and you need a quite place to pray, then pray using the War Room that God has created through me in his Blog. Of His Glory – In His Story.
    https://ofhisgloryblog.wordpress.com/war-room/ .
Trust me, God will leave his 99 righteous person and run to save 1 repentant heart, that is Jesus Christ my dear friends.
So come let us join in the love and make this mission a successful one. Amen.
    GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
    Hallelujah

I just recently found this blog from Janice, and I think it’s a pretty lucky find if you ask me.
    Here is my post link:

      Hi Lynn,
      1. Thanks for subscribing to my blog!
      2. I have theater tickets for tonight, so I’m leaving soon. This weekend I’ll share your post all over the place. This sounds so frustrating. Congratulations on being a Huffington Post blogger! This should be such a thrill for you, the big time. Instead, it sounds frustrating.
As far as my feedback, I don’t know much about the topic, but I’m sure your post is amazing if the Huffington Post published it. Congratulations again.
      Janice

      • Janice Wald

        Hi again Lynn,
I’m home from the theater. I shared the article on Pinterest, Twitter, StumbleUpon, and Google+, and I commented. Congratulations again. I hope that helps!

This is awesome and a wonderful opportunity!

I must confess the whole “Patience Is A Virtue” thing quickly became a constant for me lately. I only discovered the “Blogging World” in June 2016 when handed an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. During my browsing to see how to get started blogging, I was offered a content writing gig for a Lifestyle Magazine (from a wonderful, INSANE person preparing for Launch Day.

Jumped in with both feet, deciding to learn as I go. I now am wanting my Personal Blog to the next level. Previously I used it to channel my published articles. Here is where the PATIENCE deal comes in to play. I want to do it all NOW. LOL… Since I know one step at a time is reality here is my link and wish.

My Wish: To increase my blog traffic to not only help my readers, but also create a business and monetize.

    My Link: https://midwestgirlsdreams.com/contact-midwest-girl-info/

Thanks so much so glad to meet and collaborate with even more awesome writers!

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Marcie,
      1. Thank you for subscribing to my blog? How did you find my blog? I always wonder.
      2. I commented on your post, and I see Kat did too.
      3. I will try to promote our Collaboration Group more so more people come by and help.

      Janice

      Hi Kat,
I commented on your post. You and I both love Schulte and chocolate it seems. I saw Marcie did too. Like this group, they have reciprocation threads in blogger groups on Facebook that may help as well.

      Hi Amanda!
I do not have a Reddit account, but I shared your post on stumbleupon <3

    • Brittany

      Hello Jaxx,
I am a vegetarian so did not share this recipe, as it would look at a bit odd for those who know me! However I did share your preventing blisters post on Stumbleupon!

      • Stephanie

I read the article you posted “How to quickly get 3000 new blog followers. Confirmed my suspicion it’s best to give, it will come back 10 fold. Thanks for sharing this.

I just read your blog post on Manabu gardening. Loved it. I left a comment on your site.

    • Stephanie

      Hi Nikhil,

I tried both of your links. They both open on a broken page.

    • Jessica

I tried your links, but they seem to be broken. I did visit your site and read a couple posts. I enjoyed it (and followed).

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Nikhil,
I am so sorry I have been lax about helping the members of this group. I’m glad to see others helped you though. Participation in this group is a perk for my blog followers. Since your email isn’t coming in with your request, I can’t see if you signed up.

        Hi Janice,

Thanks for the comment and sharing my post on Pinterest. I really appreciate your support. I think I found Mostly Blogging when doing research on tips for increasing blog traffic. Your site was mentioned and I followed the link. I liked what I saw and subscribed to the newsletter. If I remember correctly, I think I also read an article in which you spoke about post syndication with “Kingged”.

The Google tips didn’t result in specific blogs related to my niche, but as I’m narrowing them into sub niches I’m finding more relevance. I’ll just keep going.

Also, how does one join your Pinterest Group board?

        Thabo

Thank You Janice for providing this awesome support group, glad to get subscribed.

I’m a writer, recently started an interactive story telling blog, where a story series is released every Tuesday episode wise. Curious point here is, readers of the episode are provided with 3 options of story plots to choose for the subsequent episode. Most chosen plot would be weaved as the story for the upcoming episode and this goes on.

Here is the link of the latest episode: https://writergenie.com/2018/01/16/episode-2-soldier-masked-stranger/

I wish to get story lovers to be engaged in my blog. I am collaborative, already started sharing of the few articles mentioned in this link.

I’ve been wanting to start a blogger collaboration group for a while now, but didn’t know where to start. Your article has given me some great tips and advice on how to make it happen. I also recently discovered Exdera (https://www.exdera.com/), a platform that connects bloggers and brands for collaborations, and I think it could be a great resource for finding potential group members and partnership opportunities. I love the idea of setting clear goals and expectations, as well as having a system for accountability. The tips on creating engaging content and building relationships with other bloggers are also very helpful. Thank you for sharing your expertise and insights on this topic!
