Weekly Blogging Link Roundup

The Best Links of the Week

  1. Much discussion has been made over one of bloggers’ biggest concerns, lack of time.  In addition to researching, writing, promoting, and networking, bloggers need to find time to read other blogs.  Hugh, from Hugh’s Views & News, explains how he finds the time to read his followers’ blogs.  He actually groups his followers into categories labeled Groups A, B, C, and D.  Using this tiered approach, Hugh is able to prioritize the time he spends reading his followers’ blogs.  To find out what criteria Hugh uses to group his followers, read his post Are You Letting Your Blog Get Out of Control?
  2. Kathy, from SmartLiving365.com, reflects on her seven years of blogging in her post 10 Lessons About Life I’ve Learned by Blogging.  Newer bloggers have the benefit of Kathy’s experience which clearly has brought wisdom.  Her “10 Lessons” are valuable for all bloggers.
  3. In 6 Best Writing Tips I Know, Scribblecroft never ceases to amaze.  She not only shares the six best tips she’s learned after more than ten years of blogging, but she supports each one with inspirational quotes from the most famous writers of all time.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s choices.

Readers, I am still looking for blogging-related link submissions.  Please put them in the comments section.  Please share this post, so other bloggers know about this opportunity to get exposure as well.

    Hi Hugh,
It was an interesting post and an interesting method of saving time reading your followers’ blogs. I follow you. I had fun trying to predict which group I would fall into!

Thanks Merri. Your help has been indispensable! I sent you an Email this evening! How is the summer heat in Texas? Over 100 here. Thanks for writing me here!

  3. Kathy

Hi Janice! Thank you so much for linking my post about what I’ve learned. About the only big thing I DiDN’T mention that I’ve learned is how supportive and generous other bloggers can be to make the journey rewarding. Thank you so much for reaching out to me and other bloggers with your encouragement and help. I don’t think any of us can “do it alone” and even if we could, it wouldn’t be as much fun! ~Kathy
