Welcome to Our Valentine’s Day Blog Party!

Happy belated Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day occurred this past Thursday, February 14.

According to research, Valentines Day is celebrated around the world although different cultures have different ways of celebrating.

Valentine’s Day traditionally celebrates love. We love blogging, and we love our blogging community, so let’s celebrate!

Valentines Day Ideas

Since Valentines Day is traditionally celebrated by giving gifts such as candy, at today’s blog party, we are having chocolate candy.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

My Valentines Day ideas include having music.

This song by Maroon 5 is a love song and was featured in the movie “Valentines Day.”

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new followers too.

Note: At other Meet and Greets, guests return and leave different links to articles in different comment boxes. You are welcome to return as often as you like and leave links.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at our blog party, please share on your blogs and social media. The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

    Thank you Janice!

I am from Germany and we imported Valentine´s Day promoted by the flower industry. What I enjoyed a lot this year is that in the class of my 9-year-old in English they wrote each other cards and stated what they liked about each other! Very sweet!

My hubby and me we just let Valentine´s Day go. This creates much ease: Nobody has to meet a deadline or get flowers…
This is why I share my article about letting go here. May it inspire you!

      Hi Inge,
I’m sure many holidays like Valentine’s Day are full of commercialism. The vendors make a fortune so they promote it– makes sense.
Thanks for coming to my party and telling us about your article.

      Hi Roberta!
A newlywed! Congratulations! This is a special Valentine’s Day for you since it’s your first as a married couple. I wish you all the best. Thanks for joining us today at my party.

      Hi Pam,
Happy Belated Valentine’s Day to you! I didn’t know you were a journal fanatic. Do you bullet journal? I published a post about bullet journaling. Thanks for coming to my party.

    Happy Valentines Day!
We spent our Valentines Day with a huge family gathering around a table filled with Chinese food…and plenty of chocolate for dessert. I write a “mommy blog” but from a grandmothers perspective (a little humor, a lot of encouragement and occasionally a bit of actual wisdom, or at least I hope so).
    Here is my latest post:

      Hi Sonja,
Thank you for joining us today. My family had Chinese food on Valentines Day as well! That’s quite a coincidence! Thanks for coming to my party today and telling us about your blog. Happy Valentines Day to you!

Thanks for calling this party. My site is mostly about traveling, but I write to recognize the good people and places God has blessed me to get to know. My latest post is about our little town in Arkansas. Searcy is in a race to host Season 4 of the HULU series Small Business Revolution. Here’s my link. Feel free to drop by, leave a comment, follow, and vote for Searcy!

      Hi Cie,
You don’t need to share a romantic post at my Valentines Party. I’m just happy you’re here.
Congratulations on winning the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party contest this week.
At first, I thought you were mad I was having technical problems and you couldn’t access the linky party, LOL!
Thanks for writing a post just for the party. We inspired your post and hopefully, you’ll inspire us to have a better world.

      Hi Suchot,
Happy Belated Valentines Day to you! I loved your post offering inspirational quotes about money. Congratulations on winning the Inspire Me Monday linky party with it.

    Happy Valentine’s, everyone!
I’m Marina, and I write about Greece and art.
Today I want to share a post to promote a fantastic organization called the Twitter Art Exhibit, which invites people to send them postcard size original art, which they then exhibit and sell to support various charities. Do take a look, it’s fun and there’s some great art—plus you might even want to join in!

      Hi Marina,
I’m pretty active on Twitter but didn’t know about the Twitter Art Exhibit. Thanks for coming to my party and telling us about it. Happy Valentines Day to you!
