Blogger Meet and Greet

Welcome to Our St. Patrick’s Day Meet and Greet!

St. Patrick’s Day is this Thursday. Since the holiday is celebrated around the world, it’s a wonderful occasion for the international blogging community to celebrate.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

Then, network with the bloggers who have commented before you. They all came to meet new bloggers. Go to their blogs, introduce yourself, and let them know how you found them.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.

Blogger Meet and Greet

At today’s Meet and Greet, we are having cake.

Enjoy the cake and the networking.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

I hold these opportunities for bloggers to network twice a month.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at the Blogger Meet and Greet, please share.  The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party and give us all more exposure.

    Hi Janice,
Thank you for inviting me to your St Patrick’s Day Blogging Party. Greetings from Australia. My blog is called Beyond the Flow and it’s a philosophical journey experienced through the everyday and as viewed through my camera lens.
I live right near the beach and last Thursday, I opened the front door and there was fog right on my doorstep, which was exceptional. I ended up down on the foggy beach with my camera and took some of my best ever photos. Here’s the link:

Hi guys! Oh is this a potluck? Whatever I bring always gets pushed into the back row uneaten (wonder why?!) so this time I’ll bring something festive like green banana bread (unripe bananas, not food coloring!;-)

My blog is called Once Uoon Your Prime and is humor (all subjects) but my most recent post is called “6 Stages of Blogging We All Recognize and Relate To!” I get stuck in #2. Which one are you currently in? The 6 Stages of Blogging We All Recognize and Relate To! | Once Upon Your Prime

And Janice is brilliant! I like to call her “Janice the Jenius!” Looking forward to socializing (even though I’m shy) and checking out all your blogs. Oh and today’s my birthday.

Hi! I run the blog Uniquefootprints. It’s a little piece about our crazy multicultural life in a small city in Wisconsin. It’s a great place if you are looking for some inspiration, some recipes, some school counselor supplies and a big dose of real life. 🙂 I am still working getting a strong base of followers and self promotion but little by little we will get there.

Here is one of my lastest posts! 🙂

Hi Janice, Its great to share St. Patrick’s Day with everyone. For everyone else, I’m Lee and I live in the biggest state in the union – Alaska. I have a blog where I talk about what ever strikes my fancy. I cover the gambit from movies to top 10 lists to weather, Alaskan things, anything. I can tell you I hated to write in high school but I’m actually enjoying coming up with topics for my blog and putting my thoughts on paper.

  13. Niki | at 5:37 pm

Thanks for inviting me here, Janice. I’ll take a look around at some of the other bloggers.

I’m Niki and over at my blog (, you’ll find a Texan writing about her time in Upstate New York, while her husband is stationed in the Army there. I also substitute teach elementary grades and work as a cashier at K-Mart, so sometimes there are funny stories to go along with those! I would love for you to join me on this journey. 🙂

Also, here is a link to a post I did at the beginning of March of my favorite blog posts in February from readers I’m subscribed to:

  14. Eric Hanson | at 8:12 pm

I thank you ever so kindly for your invite Janice.

My name is Eric and I aspire to have a career in writing. I’m working on getting my first book published and blog about my projects as well as tips for other writers and the occasional editorial.

I’ve also been working with some very talented artists who have provided stunning illustrations for my book, and am happy to promote their work on my page.

Looking forward to meeting other bloggers with a love of stories from novels to movies. 🙂

I actually have eight linky parties each month as well as two blog parties. That means I offer ten networking opportunities each month. I mentioned the linky party since mostly DIY bloggers come to that, at least the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party which I host on Mondays.
I hope you don’t mind, but I took the liberty of adding your Email to the “subscribe” box after getting this comment. All you have to do is activate the link which should be in your Email and you will get apprised of all the networking opportunities. Thank you for your interest.

            Hi Janice,

I don’t mind at all, but I never received the email! Would you mind sending it again? Thanks so much for including me. I am excited about these great networking opportunities!

  15. Tee | at 12:07 am

Hi Janice! Firstly, thank you for doing these networking event son your site!

My blog is a mix between fitness (motivation, clean eating recipes, tips, and workouts), lifestyle, fashion and photography from my travels… So basically everything! But it’s mostly fitness related 🙂 today I’m sharing a link to my fav clean eating breakfast! Thanks in advance for stopping by! I’ll be sure to check out others first thing in the morning ??

  16. Wendy | at 10:03 pm

Thank you so much for networking on behalf of others like this! I’m late to the party and wasn’t going to post a link because of that, so I appreciated your comment on one of my posts that the opportunity was still open. My blog sort of runs the gambit of topics as my mind never stays still…but it’s almost always settled round humor.

Here’s a post just for St. Patrick’s Day (albeit from last year!).

    • Janice Wald | at 10:05 pm

      Hi Wendy,
Thanks for coming over! It’s never too late to party! It’s true! Nice to meet you today. I have it on good authority there’s some virtual cake left. Enjoy!

I write at two blogs — and Farm Girl Cook’n is my main blog and Farm Girl Weddings is more about my Farm wedding venue. My food blog is as much about the story of the food as the recipe itself. I love vintage recipes and trying to recreate those recipes that mom or grandma made without a written recipe.

Here is my post about my dad’s Irish Cream recipe served in my mom’s Irish cups.
