Are you familiar with r/nsfw_gif hot-subreddits and other popular subReddits?
This post will familiarize you with many hot subReddits so you can decide which are the best subReddits.
UPDATE January 2021: One of the hot subReddits right now is Wall Street Bets. This subreddit, with over six million members, manipulated the stock market. The members bought stock in Game Stop, a stock that had been floundering. As a result, the stock soared and the members might be in legal trouble.
Do I consider this an example of an r/nsfw_gif? Yes. Although that is usually saved for “mature” content, since stock manipulation is illegal, this qualifies as one of these hotSubreddits.
Would you ever create a subReddit? Why would you want to, right?

26+ Hot Reddit SubReddits
I asked Reddit users which subReddits they recommend.
Here are their responses:
In this post, “hot subReddits” means subReddits that are popular.
“1. What is the subReddit I recommend?
The subreddit I use all the time is Male Fashion.Advice: Join https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/.
2. Why do you recommend this particular subReddit?
As a men’s style blogger, I find this subreddit to be a goldmine. For starters, as a community of guys who are men’s style enthusiasts, it’s a gold mine of potential readers for my blog, so being part of the community and building trust with the guys in that community has huge potential upside for my traffic. But more importantly, scanning through that subreddit and seeing what questions guys are asking and what issues they’re dealing with gives me a window into their wants and needs. This allows me to craft content that answers their questions and serves their needs, which in turn allows me to build trust and authority with them.
Having a one-stop shop where I can go to better understand my readers, build trust and authority and potentially drive qualified traffic to my site is a goldmine. I highly encourage bloggers to find subReddits that are relevant to their niche and become an active reader—or better yet, an active participant.”

“I’m an enthusiastic plant Mum. With that said, the subreddit I recommend and love is r/houseplants.
If you love houseplants, this subreddit is the place to go for sure. It’s like a curated Pinterest feed of beautiful plants, plant fails, and plant wins. Did you just manage to score your dream plant?
Upload a photo to this subReddit and everyone will celebrate with you.
Is your Jade plant having some problems? Upload a photo and explain what’s going on and users will help you diagnose and fix the problem. Did you just buy a new plant and you have no clue what It is? Upload a photo and users will be able to ID it for you and probably offer care tips too.
The community is great and you get to learn loads too. I can now offer advice to people who own the same plants as me, and it feels great to be able to help people. And if there aren’t any posts about plants I own, then I can spend a lot of time just scrolling through the amazing photos.”

This subreddit if for the film buff. Criterion is a great brand that sells classic movies for a good price. Here you can interact with other film buffs and keep an eye on when the next movie is dropping or laugh a good joke about cinema.

My favorite subReddits are:

Quite often there are many interesting stories shared, and discussions done which give you good insights and information about the game in general. Obviously, sometimes there are biased views, but then after sometime you become adept at ignoring them. Currently, the subreddit has 1,635,311 subscribers.
3) r/askhistorians : An amazing place to understand history and why some events happened and their ramifications. Sometimes it is like talking to a friend, who explains things in a very informal but constructive manner – and gives wide varying perspectives to the world’s tumultous history. “The timeliness of [your post] cracked me up. I literally spent most of last night staying up in bed crying my eyes out over my new favorite subreddit: r/MadeMeSmile (https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/).
I’d had a tough day at work and needed some cheering up, and boy did that fit the bill. It’s just so wholesome, uplifting, and heartwarming. When all seems dark and broken in the world, I’ll go here for reminders that good is still out there. A lot of it.”Grace Everitt

Favorite subReddit
What is your favorite subReddit?
“I enjoy the stopdrinking subReddit.
Why recommend? Most of my friends and family are casual drinkers. 18 months ago I stopped drinking alcohol to realize a number of physical and emotional health benefits (anxiety and depression lessened, sleep improved, skin cleared up, self-confidence soared, etc.).
Since I don’t know a lot of people “in real life” who abstain from alcohol, it’s nice to chat with liked-minded individuals who share benefits from quitting drinking or reasons why they don’t want to start drinking again.
Many talk about why they stopped drinking and the challenges they may face, as well as share their successes when they reach certain milestones or face special events without reaching for alcohol. I feel like there is always something I can learn or use as inspiration to incorporate into my own alcohol-free journey.
Just as an FYI, my next favorite subReddit is Howard Stern! While /stopdrinking and /HowardStern generate wildly different content, the reason is the same as above. No one in my immediate circle “in real life” listens to the Howard Stern Show and it’s fun to see what people are posting about a particular staff member, guest interview or phony phone call.
I’ve been a listener for years so I can even understand most of the conversations surrounding older shows, bits and staff members who aren’t with the Stern Show anymore.”

“One of the things I love the most about Reddit is how much useful information is buried on there. Why: The r/FinancialIndependence subreddit is made up of redditors looking to break the traditional retirement mold by saving aggressively, spending less and retiring early. For a subreddit with over 600k subscribers, it is very well moderated and keeps the focus on financial independence topics. Reddit Goddesses
Can you believe one of the hot subReddits is dedicated to Reddit goddesses?
Are you wondering who the Reddit goddesses are?
They are considered the most beautiful girls on Reddit. For instance, Reddit goddesses include Reddit models.
For example, one of the Reddit goddesses includes Arianna Secret.
A different subReddit is dedicated to professional model Elizabeth Turner. Turner is also considered one of the Reddit goddesses.
MetaReddit Adult
Here is my attempt to make a sexy GIF Reddit word cloud:

If you are looking for the sexiest subReddit, there are sexy Reddit pages like the best nude subReddits.
Below you will find the sexiest Reddit subReddits:

r/nsfw_gif, also called “reddit nsfw_gif,” is an adults-only Reddit subReddit.
“NSFW” stands for “Not Safe for Work.”
There are many not safe for work subReddits. This post is about one of the best nsfw subReddits, r/nsfw_gif.
This subReddit is popular for its funny erotic GIFs.
The Tumblr social media site recently banned adult content but Reddit still allows mature content in certain subReddits.
One of the most popular r/nsfw_gif communities is r/nsfw_gif. If you want to see a nsfw_gif Reddit, click this link.
When you click the link, you have to say they’re over 18 and willing to view mature content. This is due to the fact that you will see many Reddit nsfw gifs.
Full disclosure: I have never seen an r nsfw_gif . Since I have only clicked the link and not actually viewed the content, I’ve never seen an r/nswf_gif. Have you ever seen an r/nsfwgif?
Reddit NSFW Meme and GIF
Did you know you can make a Reddit NSFW GIF?
To make a Reddit NSFW GIF, use Giphy.com. You will find the instructions here along with the instructions to make custom Instagram stickers.
One important note though…
If you want to make a Reddit NSFW meme, you can no longer use the Imgur meme generator. As of 2019, Imgur stopped displaying NSFW gifs associated with Reddit.
Related: More information about the Imgur Meme Generator can be found here: Best I Can Do Is Meme.
Best Hentai SubReddits
Hentai is another of the r/nsfw_gif hot subs.
Hentai is a Japanese-style anime characterized by overt sexuality.
Go to the Reddit search bar and type “Hentai,” and you’ll find the best hentai subreddits. For instance, one of them is devoted to breaking free of addiction to cartoon pornography.
Meta Reddit over 18
Did you know metaReddit compliments Reddit? There is also a metaReddit over 18 content as well. The metaReddit also has nsfw_gifs.
I have also never seen the metaReddit over18 content. Before starting research for this post, I’d never even heard of metaReddit nsfw.
If you want to view the content, go here. You will have to verify you are over 18.
If you want to see a metaReddit Reddits over 18 list, here are over 100. This list was published in 2018, so the communities should still be active.

You can discover how to use three hot subReddits to boost your YouTube views and followers by watching this video.
June 2021 Updates
When you consider your ability to find like-minded thinkers at Reddit, the power of the hot subReddits cannot be discounted.
For instance, the WallStreetBets subReddit members got together and manipulated a stock, GameStop, so it appreciated, and I heard they did the same with AMC.
The members of the TV show Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist subReddit staged a Twitter Bomb on Twitter to save the show with the hashtag #SaveZEP.
The Reddit subreddits definitely prove the power of community.
May 2021 Updates
My newest favorite subreddits are two hot subReddits. I am addicted to the 90-Day Franchise.
My newest hot subreddits are 90-Day Fiancé, 90-Day Fiancé Snark, and 90-Day Fiancé Uncensored.
February 2021 Updates
Update 1
The WallStreetBets subReddit remains in the news after manipulating the Game Stop stock in January and causing the stock to artificially inflate.

The members of this popular subReddit planned a billboard imploring members not to sell. With over 8 million members, WallStreetBets is one of the hottest subReddits. Interest increased after the stock stunt. The subReddit has 6 million last month.
Update 2
I discovered the Twitter subReddit.
I recommend the Twitter subReddit as one of the hot subReddits. While doing research for my post about how to get out of Facebook Jail, I discovered an important conversation in the subReddit about how to get out of Twitter Jail.
January 2021 Update
Recently, I polled bloggers. I wanted a source in addition to bloggers on Instagram, so I asked Redditors in the blogging subReddit.
I found bloggers here far more helpful than on Instagram where engagement proves difficult lately.
Coincidentally, I read in an article curated at Flipboard that someone else needed to question people for an article and also used people in hot subReddits.
The more popular the subReddit, the more likely you are to get responses. For instance, the blogging subReddit that successfully generated responses for my interview has over 76,000 members.
Reddit also tells you how many people are at the subReddit when you conduct your poll.
December 2020 Update 1
More information about hot subReddits:
When Reddit feels you find a subReddit popular, you get emails updating you on content from the subReddit.
For instance, this week I received updates from the SEO subReddit. I am more active in that subReddit than the others.
One email notification read, “Hello, I am new to SEO and need your help.” Another read, “Best podcasts to get better at SEO.”
This way, if you are interested, you can contribute to the discussion.
Of course, you can opt out of receiving these email notifications if you prefer.
December Update 2
One of the hot subReddits I am enjoying is the Instagram subReddit. The subReddit confirms Instagram tips I knew to be true and educates me on additional Instagram news and information.
December Update 3
According to Social Media Today, Reddit acquired a video streaming tool, Dubsmash. The tool is similar to TikTok in that it allows people to lip sync and dance to music.
December Update 4
Here is another of the hot subReddits I discovered for you.
The Old Recipes subReddit has such a popular soup recipe that Today.com made the soup and reviewed the recipe.
A beautiful discussion thread with 263 comments accompanied the soup recipe in the subReddit:
“This is a hard holiday season for many people and sharing recipes and traditions is a great way for many people to feel more connected.
Please share your favorite family traditions in r/Old_Recipes so others can adopt them if they are in need of home and comfort right now.”
Updates November 2020
Update 1
The Slow Cooking subReddit is extremely popular. Over two million Redditors are members. Clearly, this subReddit where members share recipes is one of the popular, hot subReddits.
I will update this guide with hot subReddits as I continue to discover them.
Update 2
Bloggers complain that Reddit blogging is difficult.
We can’t generate blog traffic since when we try to drop our links, we are perceived as spammers.
The solution:
Recently, I downloaded the Reddit app.
In the hottest subReddit for bloggers I’ve found, the SEO subReddit, bloggers and marketers discuss challenges.
When I have the solution in a blog post, I let people know and offer them the link if they are interested.
They respond asking for the link, and I’m able to generate Reddit blog traffic when and if they click.
My results are mixed: People click, and I get traffic and a link from Reddit. Conversely, people ask for the link but don’t click.
November 2020 Update 2
Finding new hot subReddits to join is easy.
Here’s why:
Reddit suggests subReddits for you to join. The site basis these recommendations on your history. In other words,
Reddit recommends new subReddits for you to join based on the interests in other subReddits you expressed.
October 2020
Update 1
A recent Social Media Today poll asked what percentage of people use less mainstream social media sites like Reddit, Twitch, and Quora. Reddit received the most votes.
37% indicated they use Reddit, 35% indicated they use Twitch, and 29% indicated they use Quora.
Update 2
I learned that the Reddit Work Gone Wild subReddit has 2,400 searches per month. Therefore, it might be one of the more popular Reddit subReddits, so I want to recommend it to you. This Reddit Work Gone Wild subReddit is SFW, Safe for Work.
There’s even a GoneWild30Plus subReddit. Although I haven’t visited this subReddit, I assume the content is for the “Over 30” crowd. In other words, the content would be enjoyed by Redditors over the age of 30.
There’s also a GoneWild18 subReddit. Like the GoneWild30Plus subReddit. I assume the GoneWild18 subReddit is for 18 year olds. I have not been to these subReddit either.
Why am I recommending the Gone Wild subReddits if I haven’t seen them firsthand? My research reveals they are among the hot subReddits which means they are popular.
Update 3

While doing research on Reddit, I discovered this comment which favorably compares the Doctor Who Reddit subReddit to Tumblr content about the same television show.
The commenter observed there is more hate on Tumblr than on Reddit, so she’s switching to Reddit.
Although the comment was made six years ago, it’s a nice contrast between the kind of content you’ll find in a Reddit subReddit and Tumblr.
Update 4
Quora’s Carelix Acosta had scathing words to say about the moderators of Reddit subReddits which seemed to include even the hot subReddits:
“There’s a lot of admin abuse! They will try to twist and manipulate the rules of the subreddit to justify their actions! It’s ridiculous!
Also, God forbid you post a different opinion. Downvoted into oblivion so that your comment gets buried, encouraging group-think! Not good at all!”
October 2020 Update 5
Interested in chatting with other subRedditors?
Reddit pairs you with people in your subReddit you want to chat with.
Also, a Quoran (member of Quora) observed in an answer that leaving your link in a Reddit subReddit gives it credibility and therefore could boost your SEO.
October 2020 Update 6
The Reddit Cybersecurity subReddit is quite popular. The subReddit has 2200 monthly searches. Note: I have not personally used the subReddit myself.
September 2020
Update 1
I keep discovering more new hot subReddits.
Recently, I found out there is a subReddit devoted to animals being “derps.”
I actually had to Google what the slang term “derp” means. Apparently, “derp” means foolish. Therefore, there is a subReddit devoted to animals acting foolishly.
Here is the lang to the Animals Being Derps subReddit in case you are interested.
September Update 2
This post offered a great deal of information about hot subReddits such as r/nsfw_gif mature subReddits.
A Quora user explained how you can filter your favorite subReddits. For instance, you can filter out the hot subReddits by Popular or New.
Here are the instructions for filtering subReddits such as metaReddit 18 or any subReddits you consider the best.
September Update 3
Knowing sexy subReddits are popular and wanting to help readers, I asked Quora, What are the sexiest subReddits?”
This guide already recommended the “Ask Reddit” subReddit. As it turns out, there are many “Ask Reddit” subReddits depending on what you need information about.
For instance, there are Ask Reddit Historians, Ask Reddit Gender about gender questions, Ask Reddit Engineers if you have an engineering question.
That is just a sampling of what came up when I asked Quora for the sexiest subReddits. A complete list is here, but take note: The list was written in 2015 and there may be more sexiest subReddits started since then.
August 2020
Update 1:

Yesterday, Joe Biden announced Kamala Harris as his running mate for the U.S. presidential election.
Politics
I went into Reddit and clicked the “Politics” tab. The news of his choice was blasted.
Reddit is called “The Front Page of the Internet” for good reason. It truly is a news site. You can get news in your niche.
In this case, you get news of politics by clicking the Politics tab at the top.
News
You get national news. Are you wondering where the election coverage is– Politics or News? You’ll find the information by clicking both tabs.
World News
You’ll find news about other countries.
August 2020 Update 2:
On Quora, Redditors complain about Reddit subReddit moderators banning them. I originally thought shadowbans are one of the disadvantages of using Instagram, but apparently, these penalties occur on Reddit as well.
Redditors wrote Quora users to ask what to do about moderators implementing shadowbans.
The solution: message the moderators or start your own subReddit.
July 2020 Updates
Update 1
Accused of “hate for profit,” Facebook’s revenue loss continues to grow as advertisers pick up stakes and leave.
The Chicago Sun Times posted alternative social media sites you might want to consider besides Facebook, and Reddit was among them.
According to the publication,
“This week, Reddit banned a group of nearly 800,000 devoted to Trump, saying that members had bullied and harassed other members. Reddit, which has more than 430 million members, has introduced new rules that will make it easier for the site to weed out members violating its policies.”
Update 2

I discovered a new hot subReddit: AskReddit. This seems to be a random question and answer subReddit.
According to Statista, Ask Reddit is one of the three most popular subReddits. Humor and Announcement subReddits are the other two hot subReddits according to the blog.
I find this popular subReddit, Ask Reddit, a potential Quora alternative. However, at Quora, you need to state your credentials for being qualified to answer the question. At Ask Reddit, anyone can answer.
To my surprise, I discovered there are several Ask Me Anything subReddits. The AMA is one of the hot subReddits that is not as closely moderated. In contrast, the IAMA subReddit is more closely moderated.
Let me clarify: SubReddits are moderated, but the content on the IAMA subReddit needs approval.
Also, there is even an Internat AMA subReddit.
Clearly, hot subReddits at Reddit include question and answer subReddits.
June 2020 Update 1
An additional hot Reddit subReddit for you: My daughter disclosed she likes the Reddit subReddit Frugal Living. It turns out, I am also a member of the Frugal Living subReddit.
I found a powerful method of finding hot subReddits:
Look:

I was curious what I’d see if I clicked the Controversial tab. Would I see examples of the r/nsfw_gif content?
No. In fact, I found “controversial” information about Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook I can add to my article about the advantages and disadvantages of Facebook.
Certainly, as you see, and you’ll see time and time again, Reddit’s subReddits are a valuable resource for you when researching your blog post articles.
June 2020 Update 2
On June 4, 2020, Redditors had trouble reaching Reddit’s servers and the website didn’t work.
If you ever have trouble with Reddit nsfw subreddits or any Reddit subReddits, go to this down detector website.
June Update 3
While composing a post on Amazon sellers, I discovered Reddit subReddits exist to help Amazon resellers.
Here are the links to two hot subReddits that help with Amazon sales:
This subReddit has newbie threads and self-promotion threads.
This subReddit has weekly Question and Answer sessions.
June 2020 Update 4
The Marie Haynes Podcast referenced the SEO SubReddit that one of the respondents in this interview recommended. Haynes is an SEO expert. Her finding the SEO subReddit valuable enough to quote added credence to this hot subReddit being worthy of time spent there.
June 2020 Update 5
According to the AdAge blog, Reddit wants to be a safer place for brands. Therefore, Reddit is deleting subReddits the social media giant deems to have offensive content.
The number of subReddits totals over 2000. The most notable of the deleted subReddits includes The_Donald, a hot subReddit devoted to Donald Trump.
Reportedly, extreme liberal subReddits got cut as well.
Hot subReddits banned:
There were others, but these are the most popular subReddits that were deleted.
r/darkhumorandmemes; r/chapotraphouse; r/consumeproduct; r/darkjokecentral; r/gendercritical; r/The_Donald; r/cumtown; r/imgoingtohellforthis2; r/wojak; and r/soyboys (Source)
These actions come on the heels of advertisers pulling their campaign money from Facebook in an effort to stop “hate for profit.” The ad ban reportedly is costing founder Mark Zuckerberg 7 billion dollars. More information on the Facebook ad ban can be found here.
May 2020 UPDATE 1
I discovered some of the hot subReddits might encourage illegal behavior.
Let me explain.
For instance, you can use Reddit subReddits to find bootleg copies of Broadway musicals.
Do you want to know how?
In the Reddit search bar, type “bootleg musicals.”
You’ll see a subReddit where you can access the musicals. My informant =) told me people might want you to trade a bootleg copy in exchange for one.
You’ll also see discussion about musicals under your subReddit choices.
May 2020 UPDATE 2
Although none of the respondents mentioned a dermatology subReddit, the Style Caster blog, observed you’ll find the best skin tag removal advice on Reddit. People affected by Shelter-in-Place orders may want to check out the tips rather than leave to go see a skin doctor.
According to Style Caster, “Redditors are a sincere and convenient source of tips and honest feedback.”
May 2020 Update 3
When polling Twitter users for an upcoming blog post about the advantages and disadvantages of Twitter, several respondents chose to compare Twitter to Reddit:
Commenter 1:
“As an expert in the Social Media industry with over 12 years of expertise, I can say that Twitter is too heavily regulated. Their compliance requirements for both vendors and individuals are becoming a burden; with CCPA and GDPR more and more users opt-out to use Reddit…”
As you can see, the commenter preferred Reddit to Twitter.
Let’s see how Commenter 2 feels:
“Platforms like Pinterest, Quora, or Reddit have a longer shelf life for a lot of different content. If you drop a link on Reddit or answer a Quora question, it might very well rank on Google somewhere and drive you consistent traffic for months to come.”
Like Commenter 1, Commenter 2 made favorable remarks about Reddit when asked to express opinions about Twitter.
April 2020
Disadvantages of Using Reddit:
The people I interviewed in this post sound friendly and helpful.
However, my experience with Redditors have not always been as favorable.
For example, there was a thread in an SEO subReddit in which people complained traffic was falling during the Coronavirus pandemic. I echoed their concerns.
I received a message from a Redditor who had read my comment that there are more important things than traffic.
To make matters worse:
When I replied I was trying to use my time during Shelter in Place to learn, I received another disappointing communication.
This time, a bot wrote to tell me that since I didn’t have enough karma points, I couldn’t leave a comment. Therefore, the Redditor didn’t even read my defense of myself.
March 2020
Look at how Reddit is responding to the Coronavirus:

One of Reddit’s subReddits helps spread factual information about the virus.
Reddit is starting polls.
I personally find this latest Reddit development exciting since people love answering polls on Instagram. I know due to my Instagram experience how popular polls are.
Reddit explained why they are starting polls still in beta testing:
“Today, in an effort to elevate Reddit’s diverse opinion-based content, we’re excited to introduce Polls: a brand new post type that encourages redditors to share their opinion via voting. We’ve been testing Polls with a dozen communities over the past couple of months and have gotten a lot of great feedback.
Why Polls?
It can sometimes be tough for new redditors and lurkers to know where to start on Reddit, and to feel a sense of community. We believe a simple post type that reduces the posting barrier will make it easier than ever for everyone to contribute to their favorite communities and engage in different ways.”

In March of 2016, Reddit started a feature that allows you to get messages you receive on Reddit in your email box.
These messages include personal messages, replies, and any comments you receive.
Any user with a verified email address can use this feature.
Each time you get a notification, you will be given the option to signup for email notifications until you do.
Due to the concern of Redditors (Reddit users) that their inboxes will be spammed, the messages coming to your inbox are batched.

Keyworddit is a keyword tool for Reddit.
This free tool provides keywords for Reddit subReddits including r/nsfw_gif hot subReddits.
You’ll get topics in which a particular keyword was used.
Listening to a podcast, I heard a recommendation for an Instagram subReddit. I went there and was pleased.
Recent posts, and people answering each other’s questions and trying to solve each other’s problems, impressed me.
