#Networking #Blogger Meet and Greet 12

Happy Holidays, and Welcome to My 12th Bloggers’ Meet and Greet!

It is time for my bimonthly Meet and Greet. Although we don’t need an occasion to party, the holidays are a wonderful reason to get together.

I hope you are all having a festive holiday season.

Bloggers can network at the Meet and Greet.

At today’s Meet and Greet, we are having holiday cake.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

Although the pleasure of your company is gift enough, if you are not already following Mostly Blogging, new subscribers would be a wonderful holiday gift.

Enjoy the cake and the networking.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at this Blogger Meet and Greet, please share.  The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would also be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party.

Hi all! My name is Marina and I write about life in Greece. I started the blog as a kind,of therapy to help me get through the difficult time we are having in my country, and also because all my friends wanted to know what was happening. But I don’t only write about negative, stuff. Greece is a lovely country, and full of beautiful things to see and do.

Thank you Janice for hosting another great party. I’m building up my blog slowly, and I’ve already met a lot of fun and interesting people through them!

G’morning! Thanks for sharing the cake, Janice; the decoration is beautiful.

For those I have not had the pleasure of meeting, I’m Leisel from geeky food blog Skill Up Skillet. I make and share recipes based on video games and geek culture in general. Yesterday I celebrated the first anniversary of my very first post. It’s a great time for new readers to jump in: I shared my yearly stats in a fancy infographic (don’t laugh, Janice: I made it in PowerPoint and MS Paint. I have my ways!), a best/worst of list, and some shocking plans for the future. Nope, not clickbait. Actual shocking plans that will change the way I blog.

    Thanks for this, Janice 🙂

I’m Rebecca, 30, mommy of 2 and part time worker for a women’s shelter. After I post, I will visit some of these blogs posted, they all sound intriguing.

As for me, I have a few different blogs, but most of my attention is on my blog series “Mascot Girl”. I started not to long ago, I’m writing a new chapter for the story every day or two and posting it on my blog and then on this page

It’s essentially a free handed book and if I want to, I can edit and self publish. I do want some feedback before I waste the time doing that, so if you like new adult, love story, mystery….then you might like this blog series. Any feedback is helpful 🙂

    Hello Janice and everyone else:

Pleased to meet you all! What a treat it was to see such a variety of blogs – lots of ideas to digest and ponder.

My name is Patricia Rawson – I publish a blog on finding work that matters. What I know for sure is that work that matters is about you and what matters to you. So the blog is about bravery – stepping into your magnificent life; it’s about inspiration – when you do work that is in alignment with who you are, you inspire others; it’s about expansiveness – being all that you can be!

Thank you for a chance to share. I’m a high school math science teacher who lives in the boondocks of Alaska. I’m on my 10th year at this particular school. I am married with a husband who is legally disabled after a head on collision (He is doing really well) and two adult daughters. I actually have two blogs, one math oriented and one that is about anything and everything including the start of my trip where I am trying to get back east. Check it out at

  23. Brian Lageose | at 9:20 pm

Howdy, folks! Please excuse my lengthy comment, I tend to ramble a bit…

My writing interests and styles fluctuate from day to day, a condition which might startle first-time readers, so I actually have three different blogs with loosely-structured themes. This allows potential followers to order from the a la carte menu if they don’t want a multi-course meal. (Of course, there’s nothing wrong with following all three, please do, especially if you want to fully understand what will eventually lead to my incarceration at the Beaver Valley Home for the Socially Maladjusted.)

Bonnywood Manor: This is the home of my long-form ramblings, wherein I go into great detail about people, places and things that have either raised or lowered my blood pressure lately. (Fair warning: I often babble in the form of a numbered list, which the “blogging experts” say you should never do. I don’t know why they say that, but the fact that people are telling me what I shouldn’t do is incentive enough to go ahead and do it.) This is also where I “test drive” stories and chapters from my current books-in-progress, trying to gauge if I’m on the right road of if I’ve taken a seriously wrong turn.

Crusty Pie: This is where I scour the Internet for vintage photos, slap them in a post, and then proceed to make up a short story that has very little to do with what is happening in the image. It amuses me greatly to do these things, although I suspect that, since I don’t actually own any of these photos, I am most likely contributing to someone making a big deal about arcane copyright issues and thus hastening my entrapment at Beaver Valley.

Backup Dancers From Hell: In this final repository for my Three Faces of Eve randomness, I take music videos (popular and obscure, old and new), study them intently for any sign of intelligence, and then do my best to skewer the goings-on with my twisted concept of reality. Trivia: this is where I receive the highest number of bitter comments from drive-by, anonymous readers, because apparently some people have invested a bit too much personal identity into the recording artists they admire. It’s annoying, but it thickens the skin, and all writers need that.

So, please stop by and take a gander at things. We’ll be serving digital refreshments in the lobby and, if my check clears, we’ll have a musical performance by the completely unknown but really cheap musical band “Clicks Equal Love” performing their obscure non-hit “Followback Girl”.

P.S. All of the blogs are interconnected, so if you click on one, you can find the others.

P.S.S. Thank you for the opportunity, Janice!

P.S.S.S. The manager for “Clicks Equal Love” just rang me up and they have to cancel, something about the results of a paternity test. Dang it, now I have to go dig out my harmonica and hope for the best…
