Kingged brings #bloggers traffic since it encourages #blog promotion

Do you guest post?

When I started blogging, I guest posted on some big blogs. The result? Dismal.

When you promote, it’s important for like-minded bloggers to see you. I guest posted for marketing blogs.

Business people were there. I don’t give business tips, and at the time, I never gave marketing tips.

However, Kingged.com is a site that has many marketers and other business people. Although my content is primarily for bloggers and not marketers, I receive traffic from Kingged daily.

Since I receive so much traffic to my blog from Kingged, you would think I promote there frequently.

Do you want to know how many times I’ve promoted one of my articles at Kingged?

Twice. That’s all, twice. That is the potential for traffic to your blog from this free site.

This post will explain how you can get frequent traffic from Kingged with little time and effort.

What is Kingged?

Although the site is only three years old, Kingged is already an amazing resource for bloggers and marketers.

You can promote your blog posts, participate in discussions about other users’ articles, and get blogging or marketing help from a live forum called “Ask or Discuss”.

Even though it bills itself as an Internet Marketing Social Site, the site has fifty threads where you can promote your posts that have nothing to do with Internet Marketing such as Blogging,  Motivation, Social Media, Writing, and Technology.

With 50 categories to choose from, the odds are great that bloggers of every niche can find a category that matches their content.

Users are called Kinggers. Engagement is high because you get points with activity. The more active you are, the more points you get.

At Kingged you can participate in discussion forums, communicate with other members, you can king comments and posts. Kingging is voting for comments and posts you like and want to recommend to others.

Why You Should Use Kingged

You will get many perks from using this amazing website.

  1. Kingged has CommentLuv. You can pick your headline you want visible. This is a great way of getting attention to other posts. I select a different headline with each comment I make for wider exposure.
  2. You can implement a social media strategy at Kingged by selecting which of your headlines you want visible to other users. This is the beauty of  having CommentLuv on the website.
  3. You can self-promote. You can syndicate and post your entire article, share an article and paste a snippet or write an entirely new article. Blogging expert Andrew Wise recommends promoting at “content communities” like Kingged. By commenting, you get points. When you have enough points, you can self-promote. It only took me a day to get enough points to promote one of my articles.
  4. The administrators respond quickly if you need help. Open a support ticket, and you will hear from them promptly.
  5. Moderators ensure the conversations are relevant, helpful, and friendly. They are so down to earth, they friend and follow users just like the visitors to the site do.
  6. The moderators are helpful and work on Sundays. Many rules are to prevent spamming. They respond quickly to questions and problems.
  7. Posts and comments are carefully edited and moderated to keep the site friendly for marketers who are serious about finding information on topics such as Internet Marketing, Blogging, Making Money Online, Social Media, Technology, and SEO, just to name a few.
  8. You will find serious bloggers at the website, so your new connections will be long-lasting.
  9. Some of the members are leading experts in their field. The result is that the information published on the site is extremely useful. Reading the posts can be a valuable learning experience.
  10. The site is structured in a way that many of the posts ask questions rather than provide information. That means if you are struggling with a so-called “pain point,” you can get several answers and perspectives on how to approach the problem.
  11. You get Email notifications so you don’t have to keep checking back about requests.
  12. If you desire, you can pay to get your articles additional exposure.
  13. Publishing a post or comment can send a fair amount of traffic to your site often for weeks after publication. When I received new visitors to my site, they became permanent subscribers. I know they came from Kingged since I asked them how they found my blog.
  14. The home page tells you which members are active.
  15. You get a backlink when posting or commenting on articles there.
  16. Kingged also offers  affiliate opportunities for members from time to time.
  17. In contrast to Twitter, where potential readers only see your links, at Kingged, promotion of full articles is encouraged which increases the chance of readers clicking, commenting, and coming to your blog. In this way, Kingged is a valuable content syndication site.
  18. Using Kingged is actually a productivity step. There is a button at the bottom of the post submission screen that says click G+ to +1 the article. Kingged saves you time by getting you added exposure on Google+ as well as Kingged. Therefore, you are actually promoting to two sites at the same time.
  19. Kingged has such engaged readers you will receive MANY comments on your articles.
  20. People follow you which increases your visibility.
  21. Kingged has a blog or newsletter you can subscribe to.
  22. If you make a mistake on someone else’s blog, there’s nothing you can do but contact them and ask them to delete or edit your comment. However, at Kingged, you have time, which you see counting down, to fix your errors. You have four minutes to fix an error in a comment box.

Bonus Tip:

You can get money from Kingged. Actually, I got $20.00! Can you see the man in the picture clapping for me?#Bloggers can get money at Kingged.

Since I am new to the site, these 23 reasons are really a first, extremely favorable, impression. I’m certain these benefits only scratch the surface of all that awaits you when you arrive.

I am not alone. Kingged has many other satisfied users.

        Hey Janice,

I left this comment on the syndicated version on Kingged…

Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed and powerful review post about Kingged.com. Others have written great review posts before but this is one of the best because of how you listed the many benefits of promoting on Kingged.com.

Like I have said in other such review posts – we don’t usually ask members to write reviews about Kingged, but we are always ecstatic when they do, out of their own volition. That goes to show that we are indeed giving a lot of value to members like you, enough to make you take time out to write such a powerful review! It makes me and the team really happy and determined to keep doing more, for members, in the months and years ahead, 🙂

The most impressive thing about your review, like some of the other reviews we have received about Kingged, is that it’s based on your ACTUAL experience using Kingged. You didn’t write it based on what you hope it will be or do, but based what it IS and based on what it currently does for users like you! That’s always super important.

I really like the 22 reasons you listed. You are definitely the first to list these many reasons in one review! And considering you are still a relatively new Kingger, I am sure you will find many more reasons to promote on Kingged.com, as you continue your participation here.

Things have changed a lot since we started though. When we first started we allowed mostly only “shared posts” but we are now allowing more syndication of full content, as you rightly pointed out. This is because many of those who shared their posts in the past either let their blogs/sites die or quit altogether. That led to lots of the shared posts on Kingged linking back to dead blogs/sites.

What many might not know about syndication is that it can even give more results than shared posts. With syndication, yes, members would have to post all the content on Kingged but that allows them to also include links in the content, to different other articles on their blogs/sites, as you usually do with your syndicated posts. With “shared posts” links weren’t allowed in the body of the shared posts, except the link to the full post. But with syndication, the different links within the body of the content could lead lots more people to click through to members’ blogs.

Also, as you rightly mentioned, we allow commentluv links to be used in comments so those who make comments on their posts and on other peoples’ posts on Kingged can select any of their recent articles to link to, and get a lot of click-throughs back to their blogs.

And from what we see in our stats, a LOT of the “exit links activity” happen on the commentluv links. Which means lots of members on Kingged click the commentluv links of commenters, sending them completely free and highly targeted traffic.

[For anyone reading this, take a look at how Janice uses commentluv in all the comments she makes here and on other blogs/sites – that’s the way it should be used when commenting. Instead of linking back to the same posts all the time, link back to different posts, especially your top posts or posts relevant to your comments. That helps you get a lot more click-throughs on your commentluv.

Of course this tip can be used when you comment on other blogs/sites which allow commentluv. And the premium version of commentluv allows you to add more links, than the normal 10. I think the premium allows you to add 10 or 15 extra links to choose from when making comments on commentluv enabled blogs/sites. ]

Thanks again for this powerful review, Janice. I have “kingged” it on Kingged.com and can see many others have too. We have also made it “sticky” to keep it on the frontpage for a while longer than normal. And from what we see, it has brought you a lot of traffic. Hopefully that continues for days and months to come. It’s the least we can do to say THANKS, 🙂

      Hey Mark,

Nice to meet you on Janice’ blog.

Yep, you should be embarrassed, considering you have been a Kingger for a while now and you have so much to share with others.

Apart from sharing your wisdom with others, you can also learn from other Kinggers. Remember I even had that long private message chat with you answering some of your questions (it took me more than an hour to write that long private message to you) 😉 That’s just how much we love to help and share ideas with fellow Kinggers.

Anyways, hopefully this review brings you back to us… and we have Janice to thank for that.

Remember to hit me up anytime if you have any issues or questions. I may delay in responding because of busy schedules but always eventually respond. I am never too busy for our active and valuable Kinggers, 🙂

      Talk soon,

      Kingsley

Kingged.com is a great place to market your content, even if it is not just about blogging. I have been apart of the kingged.com community for over two years now with two different blogs and I know that the people behind the website are hard workers and dedicated to helping bloggers succeed. You get alot more exposure with kingged.com if you are regular contributor. The things you have said here I believe to be all true.

    Hi Janice

What a great post you have put together on the advantages of using Kingged. I am glad your experience there is a positive one.

To give another example that the people there go out of their way to keep the site a place of quality and positive interaction I can maybe mention that I actually received an email from them telling me.”You were mentioned in a post by this top blogger.” I could not agree more with this description.

I want to thank you once again for the mention.

By the way I have been doing a lot of reading on your site and I am seeing good results and “stealing” a lot of great ideas for posts and videos from here. Where you get the time to do it I do not know but the posts you and your guest bloggers put together here are very valuable and your site is one of a kind.

    Keep posting, I’ll keep reading.

    Hi Janice,

I left you a comment on the syndicated version of this post on Kingged.

I got a private message from one of the Kingged moderators Arjay that I was mentioned in this post and I came check this out.

What a really pleasant surprise to read this and see my name and comment on it! 🙂

I recall you mentioned some weeks back that you would write this review and mention my comment but I didn’t think anything of it, until seeing this now.

These 22 reasons you provided should convince anyone to use this site. I have been using Kingged for a while and have made a lot of connections here.

What I said the last time is still correct.

I still love the quality of the posts and engagement here. They still don’t allow people to only come to submit their posts but to also interact with other peoples posts.

That makes it win-win for everyone and why I still enjoy it everyday here, particularly the quality of the posts and quality of engagement. I always seem to learn something from the comments made by many of the members, particularly in the discussion posts.

My only issue is that I don’t benefit from the commentluv linking because I don’t have a blog with posts to link from. But the Kingged team told me they are working on a signature file alternative to commentluv for people like me to use.

    Thanks for the mention again.

    Hello Janice,

    Great review post about Kingged.

I feel bad for myself after reading this post of yours. I feel bad because I have been a member of Kingged for over a year but haven’t taken full advantage of all all the site has to offer.

Reading these 22 reasons you explained here is a good reminder of what am missing not taking advantage of the benefits of being a member.

Thanks for the reminder, Janice. I checked out some of your post here too and love your blog!

Good job you are doing here and lots of great articles here.

      Hi Donna,
Thanks for your comments. I will tell you why Kingged is so easy. Every time there is activity involving you there, you receive an email notification. You click on it, and it takes you to where the friend request is. When you get there, just click “accept”.
Should you need more help, the moderators respond pretty quickly. I think there is a place to write them if needed. I can also try to answer any questions you may have as well.

      Hi Bound for Style,
You wrote me last April. I’m sorry it fell through the cracks; I only just saw it. Thanks for your nice testimonial that Kingged is a great place to be. I haven’t seen you over there. Please accept my apologies once again for the delayed response.

Wow! Janice, this is more than a 5 star review. You did amazingly well to analyze this site.

I have heard about Kingged and also have an account with them but unfortunately, I can’t remember my account details. But after going through this review, I have felt the urge to go back to it again.

But there’s this aspect I will really love to know about, and that’s how to make money from it. Kingsley, maybe you can help me on that…..

I will be joining back with another email shortly. I really need to increase my blog traffic. I don’t want traffic from Facebook anymore. It’s killing my Adsense earning. I will redirect them to a different platform.

Cheers. I hope to hear from you.

      Hi Emenike,
Thanks for coming by today and commenting on my Kingged article. I am glad you felt I did a thorough job with my review.
As far as not remembering your account details, is there a way to reset your password?
Once you are in, I would contact Kingsley. He is looking for affiliates, and you indicated you want to make money.
As far as traffic, I’m afraid that is relative. What might be little traffic to you might be a large amount to someone else. You and I blog about blogging.
Where are our readers? They are on Facebook. Perhaps you can monetize in other ways. Our readers are also looking for information on search engines, but there is GREAT competition there. In addition to Facebook, I recommend Flipboard as a great source for potential traffic.

Looking at the screen capture, it seems the earnings are not an actual cash payout but rather cash on account so you can buy services from Kingged. I think I would want more info on how much their services cost and how I would benefit in the long run, before I decide to use Kingged.

I do really love how specific their feedback was, though! It’s rare to see anything more than an automated notice when you get a payment from most sites. I like the personal touch.

      Hi Ashish,
I am sorry for not replying sooner. What country are you in? I read heart-broken comments from disappointed bloggers in banned countries but there’s nothing I can do. Thanks anyway for your interest in my article.
