Instagram Bots: Are They Really Needed?

This post was contributed.

Yes, that is quite a hackneyed subject for discussion. Everyone and their dog were spending hours arguing whether we really need Instagram automation or not. But let’s ask another question: is it really effective?

First of all, I’d like to mention that Instagram is gradually turning into the e-commerce platform (of course, it doesn’t neglect the entertaining part as well, do not worry.) So, this fact provokes the growth of the number of businesses represented on IG, from small businesses to the brands with the reputation developed years ago. In the result, the place has become highly competitive. That’s why people and brands do their best to get more real subscribers and to engage them more.

And why on Earth not to use tools developed specifically for this purpose? Do you use an umbrella when it is raining and calculator to count how much are you in debt? I see no difference as for IG automation. These tools are designed for our convenience, to save our time, to save our money at least.

If these arguments seem you quite vague, I’ve prepared for you some compelling points. Not to talk you over, but to enlighten.

What do you get using Instagram automation?

Account Advancement

Account advancement is a quite vast notion, agree? It includes the growth of the IG audience, the activity increase (the high level of communication and other kinds of online interaction. ), the enhanced involvement of the followers.

First things first, tools for automation are able to attract more real people to your account. It happens through automated likes and follows primarily. When people notice that somebody is interested in them, their first reaction is to check who. And if you are to their taste, they will follow you.

The activity is maintained through the comments, Stories views, and DMs. People always respond to comments and DMs. The automation tools can send them to a greater number of people (than you can). And if you do not want to waste your time watching all the Stories of your TA, entrust the automation tool with it.

Posts Planning

Why is it vital to plan your posts? Having a king of scheduler for your IG blog is like a kind of business plan for an entrepreneur – you cannot imagine the successful project launch without it. Planning posts can help optimize project work and save your time.

Moreover, you can test the best time to post on Instagram. This way, you will find the most suitable period of time, in with your followers are most active.

Tracking Comments

All active accounts have dozens of notifications per day, and therefore finding a way to track comments on Instagram becomes a real problem. And what if you have a couple of accounts? In any way, you need to respond to every comment you receive: questions about the price or the complaints from dissatisfied customers.

Account Analytics

You do need to trace all the activity of your account. The number of new likes, the number of new followers, the number of people who unfollow you, their Engagement Rate. All that indexes are critical for analyzing the effectivity of any promo campaign. You can see the tangible result of all your efforts. Thus, you are given the possibility to advance your strategy according to them. If you do not do that, you stand still.

Hashtag Search

Promotion via hashtag is one of the most productive if I may say so. It touches up one both the hashtags targeting and the use of them in your own posts. As for the first one, the automation tools allow you to set the targeting on those people who use particular hashtags related to the topic of your own account.

As for the second one, in order people notice you, you need to put tags under each of your posts. They should not be the same from post to post. Combine them, find new ones, create your own. But remember, there should be a couple of widely used hashtags in every post, this way people can easily found you, and the specific or branded hashtags help you to get recognition.

Conclusion: Instagram Liker

Instagram automation tools are the source of your fast productive promotion and free time. They are able to lift your account to the new level through the accurate targeting, ability of scheduling posts, auto commenting and making up hashtags. But you will never know for sure until you try.

      Hi Gaurav,
I agree with you which is why I had the disclaimer at the bottom. However, I learned long ago not to think for people. Readers can’t make choices if they don’t know what their choices are.

      Hi Ryan,
I always worry bots won’t stay on my follower count. I wouldn’t advise people to invest in them before thinking of that. Moss commented that the company could fold for example. Then, you’ll be out the money you paid for the Instagram bots.

    Hi Janice,

Instagram bots will help users to be active and maintain consistency and grow your followers faster. A friend I spoke to a couple days while writing my article about Instagram bots confirmed that in two weeks a bot she used got her 1000 unique followers, and I believe that is the most vital benefit of using Instagram automation tools. However, there several tools and accounts that have suffered the consequence of scaling their marketing campaigns with bots. And if you do your research properly, some of these tools have gone underground-no longer existing because of Instagram’s penalty.
My advice is if you must use them, be cautious about it and no when to stop.

I agree with you, Moss. Did you notice I have a disclaimer at the bottom of the article that I don’t necessarily approve of these methods? I try to grow my Instagram. Often, I’m frustrated at stagnation but at least I know I’m not investing in bots that may be gone or cause me a penalty in the future. Thanks for commenting.

If you don’t know what Instagram limits are, and you’re personally automating the activity speeds of your bot, you’re putting your account at risk. Instagram keeps those limits secret from the general public, but the teams behind the best automation software see it as part of their jobs to figure out what Instagram’s activity limits are and make sure their customers don’t go over them (if their customers are flagged as spammy, they lose customers and money). That’s why you should always use a software that has inbuilt activity speeds which are regulated for you automatically to make sure your account doesn’t go over Instagram’s limits.

      Hi Chirag,
I agree. I even had a bot on my site for a while to welcome visitors. However, no one ever talked to her, so I took her off. Thanks for the compliments on the article.

Yes BOTS saves times and reduced the human effort.
Do you know about RPA technology?
RPA technology, sometimes referred to as a software robot or bot, mimics a human worker logging into applications, entering data, calculating and doing tasks, and logging off.
