linky party linky party Inspire Me Monday blogging networking

Welcome to the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party for December 14. Thank you for deciding to join us.

Please note this will be the last Inspire Me Monday Linky Party we will have this year. Thank you so much for all your support this year you showed by attending the Inspire Me Monday linky parties.

Here is my last weekly wrap-up for 2015:

On Tuesday, I published Don’t Make These Mistakes with Your Blog Security written by my guest author.

On Thursday, I published the second Blogger’s Pit Stop Linky Party.

On Saturday, I wrote 18 Important Things You Should Know About Self-Hostingusing a pro-con format. The comments seem to have turned into an SEO debate.

On Sunday, I offered an article explaining three ways to make free and easy infographics.

I hope you had a nice week and are enjoying this holiday season.

Now, to announce the last winners for 2015 of the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party:

I thought they were all wonderful. I wish I could have announced that you all tied. However, my co-hostesses expected two winners from me. So, here you go:

I am actually sentimental as I announce the last three winners of 2015. I had a great time providing this networking opportunity for all of you.

My first selection for Most Inspirational went to EquineGuidedGrowth‘s Random Acts of Kindness. Many people want to help the less fortunate, especially at the holidays. However, they just don’t know what to do. Margaretha, the admin blogger, offers more than thirty acts of kindness people can do.

Also, her post is multicultural since it is in both French and English.

My other favorite for Most Inspirational went to Creating a Vision and Goals for Your Life. At the start of the new year, many people make new goals. There is even a name for them–New Year’s Resolutions. However, often, people don’t know what goals or resolutions they should make. This post helps you make those decisions.

We had 377 posts last week– pretty good considering how busy people get during the holiday season.

The most popular was… This Christmas Free Printable .

Hooray! Congratulations to all of you for bringing these wonderful posts to the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party this year.

Although not required, it is considered polite to follow your hostess!

That’s me! I’m Janice!

Meet Your Other Hostesses

The linkup is now on six blogs, so your one post will be seen on my blog plus five other blogs!

Each host picks their own two favorites.  In addition to exposure here, graphics from the winning posts are pinned to the Inspire Me Monday Pinterest Board. The party is live until Thursday morning.

Thank you for hosting the party, Janice, and than you so much for selecting Random Acts of Kindness. Amazing how motivating and inspiring it is to receive recognition for all those hours of writing!

First – thank you again for visiting Survivor Road.
I enjoy your site – there’s a LOT of information to disseminate so I guess I'[ll have to come back many times. Following should help me keep up while I’m still digging past 🙂
Good information here – not all of it applies (yet) but time will tell.

Have I said thank you for hosting these most excellent “Linky Parts”tl s as you said way back long, long,, before #63 It’s a great opportunity to swap links, tips and laughs with other bloggers ~ so Janice, Thank you so much.
I’ve only got one question, “How many hours a week does it take you to update your blogs, sites and other social media so that they all remain current”?

    • Janice Wald | at 10:21 pm

      Hi Lynda,
Thank you so much for the nice words about my attempts to help bloggers have networking opportunities this year. Much appreciated.
As far as your question, I’m not sure I understand “update my blogs, sites, and keep my social media current.”
      1. I only have one blog, this one, MostlyBlogging. This is my site. How long does it take me to update it? I publish five times a week, but I only publish original material 6 times a month. Those six times take me a long time, possibly four hours.
      2. Updating on social media: When I am done, I click the share buttons. I use relevant hashtags on Twitter and Facebook, but they don’t take me very long.
Thanks for the questions. Blogging is definitely a time-consuming endeavor!

It’s been a great year here on your blog Janice. I added a link to a post that’s been getting a lot of action lately on how to reblog posts without a ‘repost’ button. Thanks to your posts I’ve learned how to work Pinterest and StumbledUpon fairly well and am seeing a lot more traffic for it. 🙂

      Hi Debby,
I’ve followed your blog twice, and I don’t remember seeing that post! Was it last Tuesday? I’ve been busy, but I would think I’d have noticed it.
Thank you so much for the nice words about my blog. I may add them to my About page under testimonials. I appreciate them that much.
Once again, happy holidays to you and your family. Have a safe trip to Arizona.
