The Pros and Cons of Daylight Savings Time

Years ago, I heard Daylight Savings Time wouldn’t return when it came around again, but it did, and I heard nothing more about it. Then, this week’s winning blogger Betty shared the pros and cons with us. Do you know it can even affect our mental health? I sure didn’t. Check out the post for these interesting insights and more.

How to Improve Your Kitchen Skills This Fall

Truth Be Told: TLDR, but I sure did scroll through these delicious-looking recipes, and I want to make them this fall.

The Most Popular post at the last Inspire Me Monday Linky Party was Down By the Sea.

Congratulations to all the winners!

  2. Debbie-Dabble

    Janice,
    Nicole,
I am pleased to meet you as I do not believe our blogging paths have crossed before. I am Debbie, over at Debbie-Dabble Blog. I have been blogging since 2010…Yes, I am one of the original bloggers who started blogging shortly after the social media format started.. My blog is more like a journal for me so that someday, my identical twin daughters can look back on it and see what their Mimi loved which is my home, my garden, crafting,, volunteering and family…2 years ago, I lost my husband suddenly after only a 5 week bout of pancreatic cancer.. So now I am trying to find my way as a widow…I found your party over on Esme Salon’s blog… Thanks for hosting a link party!! I truly appreciate the work involved in doing so… My link ups for this party are #21, 22 and 23!! I am a Victorian soul at heart and my townhouse is decorated in that fashion!! I am a maximalist for sure!
I will be linking up weekly after this!!
    Hugs,
    Deb

      Hi Deb,

It’s so nice to meet you! Thank you for introducing yourself and for joining the party. I’m so glad you found us through Esme’s blog.

I’m very sorry about the loss of your husband. I lost my husband following complications from cancer surgery four years ago, so your words about trying to find your way as a widow really touched me. I remarried earlier this year, but I certainly understand how much life changes after a loss like that.

I love the idea of your blog being a journal that your granddaughters can someday look back on and see all the things their Mimi loved. What a wonderful gift to leave them.

Thank you for linking up #21, #22, and #23. I’m looking forward to visiting your posts and seeing your Victorian style! I’m so glad you’ll be joining us each week.

      Hugs,
      Janice
