Inspire Me Monday Linky Party

Welcome to the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party for July 5. We are happy you came!

Featured Posts

There were six posts under consideration for Most Inspirational.

These were my two favorites from the last Inspire Me Monday Linky Party:

Where Have All the Link-Ups Gone?

Blogger Rena’s headline immediately caught my eye. She plays off a song, “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” by Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Rena’s post mainly struck me as the evolution of Linky Parties also called “link ups.” Since you are all here at a linky party, I thought you might be interested in the evolution Rena describes.

Her post also struck me on a personal level. Her headline” “Where Have All the Link-Ups Gone?” implies linky parties are a vanishing breed, the point of her article.

Gulp. I, too, am complicit along with the other former linky party hosts. Fun fact about me: I use to host two linky parties but gave one up happy to continue hosting this linky party, Inspire Me Monday.

An Invitation to Rest

Do you ever struggle with the answer to the question “To nap or not to nap?” I seem to struggle with the answer daily.

Jennifer’s post, which is religious in nature, appeals to many religions. Apparently Christianity and Judaism are just two of the religions that discuss the importance of rest.

The most popular post at the last Inspire Me Monday Linky Party was Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix.

Congratulations to the winners!

Although not required, for arranging this networking event, it is considered polite to follow your hostess. That’s me! I’m Janice!

Meet Your Hostesses

The linkup will be seen on five blogs. Each host picks her own two favorites.

In addition to exposure here, graphics from the winning posts are pinned to the Inspire Me Monday Pinterest Board. The linkup will be open until this Thursday morning which gives you time to return with additional post links.

  1. Pam

I hope link parties never go away. I enjoy them. I still find plenty to participate in. Actually, more than I have time for! But, I do see some of them disappearing. Thanks for hosting, and have a great week.

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Pam,
I appreciate your comments. I worry about telling too much of the post for fear of giving away “spoiler alerts.” I am glad you like linky parties. I appreciate your participation!
      Janice

  2. Patrick Weseman

I love link parties and learn so much and get to see so much from them. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
