I had another exciting week.
On Monday, there were more “likes” than ever before on Inspire Me Monday #32. Thank you all so much for the support.
On Tuesday, I published How to Blog and Easily Find Time to Sleep which was a follow-up to Warning: Your 24-Hour Day is Shrinking. After reading that post, many of my readers expressed concern over lack of enough time to do all that they need to do to balance responsibilities both in and out of the Blogosphere, so I suggested a schedule for making sure all the tasks get done. The Pinterest crowd loved the photo of my daughter’s bed that I used for the post since it was often repinned.
On Thursday, I offered the second installment in my new series Reblog Thursday, tips on how to grow an audience, a topic all my readers can benefit from.
On Friday, my post Blog Growth Hack: A Cheat Sheet for Getting More Followers, was reblogged for the tenth time.
On Saturday I published seven ideas for giving free incentives to new readers.
Also on Saturday, Lifehack published my second article. The first time, I accepted their pitch. This time, they accepted my pitch. Do you want to guess the topic? I called my article 11 Things to Remember if You Love a Writer. (If you have a moment and can share it out, the editors expect their writers’ social media groups to do that.)
On Sunday, to my surprise, I found out the article was picked up by five of Lifehack‘s affiliate online publications around the world. I actually was able to see how my article looked in Russian!
I rounded out the weekend by publishing a CoSchedule Headline Analyzer tutorial.
Now let’s find out about you.
It was a difficult decision this week since I was torn. There were five posts that seemed inspirational to me. However, there were two I finally settled on.
I enjoyed Bathroom Scales: Friend or Foe? The writer discussed the dysfunctional relationship people have with their bathroom scales. Body image is an issue, and I believe many can relate. What I especially found insightful was how the author discussed the power people give their scales.
The other winner was How to Grieve. Many struggle to go through the healing process. The post was written by a doctor who gives grief counseling.
I know many who are struggling to get over the death of a loved one; even when that loved one is a pet, the grief is real and lingering. My own family, for example, is still struggling to get through the loss of our little dog Angel, who left us last October.
It is considered polite to follow your hostess!
