Welcome to the Inspire Me Monday Linky Party for March 12. We are so glad you decided to join us!
Weekly Wrap Up
Last week was an exciting week. My post 8 Proven Ways to Write LinkedIn Posts That Will Boost Your Influence went viral on both LinkedIn and StumbleUpon. This marks my first post to go viral on LinkedIn.
I discovered my expert interview How to Never Run Out of Blog Post Ideas: 45 Experts Share Secrets is still in second place at Buzzsumo. If you could share the post on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Pinterest, that would be much appreciated.
I learned blogger Moss Clement linked to my blog in his marketing post. I’m always flattered when people think to include my blog or blog articles in their posts. The reason particularly excited me. Moss complimented my blog name in his article. He gave me a shoutout for picking the name “Mostly Blogging.” He explained “Mostly Blogging” is an excellent example of branding. Anyone who sees the name knows this is a blogging tips or blogging resources site. If you’d like to read his kind words about my blog name choice, his explanation is under “#3 Establish a Strong Brand Image.”
I discovered my post about structured data is in sixth place at Buzzsumo. At the time of this writing, my post is only six social shares behind the next higher post, so if you could share on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Pinterest, that would be much appreciated.
My first choice for Most Inspirational Post went to Your Tribe is Not Who You Think. Although the admin blogger brought religion into the question the post centers on, “What is Your Tribe?” I find the question philosophical in nature. I am a member of Triberr and always believed a tribe was a group of people who support you. The writer of the post has a different answer to the question.
My next choice for Most Inspirational Post went to Rosie’s post, Twitter Introduces Bookmarks: What You Need to Know. Rosie is a social media expert, so when she talks, I listen. I did not know Twitter introduced bookmarks. I often go on Twitter during my morning break and don’t have time to read articles I find. The bookmark feature will be a big help to me and others as well, I’m sure. In addition, Rosie incorporated a Slide Share presentation into her post, so I was impressed with the format as well as the content.
I guess I have good taste because the Most Popular Post last week was my choice for Most Inspirational Post, Twitter Introduces Bookmarks: What You Need to Know. Congratulations to the winners!
Although not required, for arranging this networking opportunity, it is considered polite to follow your hostess.
That’s me! I’m Janice!
