      Hi Leon,
With a billion people on Instagram, you’re definitely missing a huge audience by not marketing your content on Instagram. Thanks for writing to tell me my post inspired you.

This post is fascinating and may be of benefit, but my internet is through my cell phone hot spot. We don’t always have signal. We are full-time RV’ers who do a lot of boondock (dry) camping, no hookups. Sometimes I can’t get an internet connection. How in the world can I keep up with FB, my blog, my website, LinkedIn, FB messenger, my writing group, and now Instagram? I can’t even get the books read on Chapter Buzz because everything else is demanding my time. I’m overwhelmed. Can you tell?

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Aleta,
Nice to hear from you. It’s been a while.
First, thank you for your compliments on my post.
Regarding your Internet connection: I’m a teacher. My site is blocked at school. I use a hot spot and rarely have problems. Perhaps talk to your internet carrier and see what can be done. I’m sorry I don’t know enough about this part of tech to offer better advice but your carrier may be able to.
Regarding time: Since I’ve been participating in follow loops, my Instagram follower count grows at a rate of about 100 a day and I don’t have to do much. It takes less than a second to follow someone back.
Regarding LinkedIn and Facebook: I use IFTTT to post from my blog to LinkedIn and Facebook for me. Are you familiar with IFTTT? It saves you so much time by promoting to social media sites for you.
Here is the link to my IFTTT tutorial: https://www.mostlyblogging.com/ifttt/
      Thanks for writing.

Janice, you are always throwing out those tidbits of info that is just what I need. Some of this I already heard but maybe I just needed to see that graphic you posted and read your post to have that “ah ha” moment.

How long do you think it took you to get to 12k? was it within a few months?

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Alice,
At first, my Instagram growth was slow. I felt for every 2 steps I took forward, I took one back.
Recently, I discovered follow loops. They’ve resulted in dramatic increases for me, and I know they do for others as well.
Since I started participating in Instagram follow loops, my follower count rises by 100 followers a day.
Great to hear from you. Thanks for commenting.

I dig the Story approach Janice. Very smart. Any tactic boosting engagement does a world of good on any network. Especially IG. People need to engage more genuinely and honestly over there. Rocking post.

      Hi Ryan,
I regularly read about how to use Instagram Stories. Several times I’ve read #BehindtheScenes is a good idea. That shows a down-to-earth view, a view blog readers don’t often get to see. Instagram does indeed help us engage more genuinely and honestly and this is one example of how we can. Thanks for the compliments. I appreciate your comments as well. Good to see you.

Hootsuite is good but would be great if they offer little more with their free plan, at least 5 accounts 🙂

Go to the Instagram search bar. Type #followloops or #followtrains and you’ll see what comes up. Thanks for reaching out with your question.

Hey, Janice! This is a great post. When it comes to increasing Instagram followers then two things are more important, Quality content and Its promotion. Content is key. No matter how many tips you take on board, if you are not providing engaging, fresh and informative content to your audience, then you are not going to gain many new followers.

Promotion on other social media sites (Facebook, Tumblr, and Google+) can also be very beneficial. Running a giveaway contest, joining groups and communities, reaching out to different bloggers, and asking them to include your content in their relevant posts are some other strategies that you can use to increase followers.

If you are new on Instagram and want to give a quick head start to your Instagram page then you can buy Instagram followers, and when it comes to increasing followers, Instafamous.pro (https://instafamous.pro/) is the best company by far. They provide real, genuine Instagram followers, and also offer a money-back guarantee. I have had great experience with them.

I really enjoyed reading your post. It’s informative and interesting. Follow loops and Shout for shout sounds a great idea to me. I’ll work on it and I hope I achieve my chosen end results.

    • Janice Wald

      Hi Richard,
Thanks for contributing to the discussion by telling us about your Instafamous tool. Thanks for the compliments. Follow loops will definitely boost your count. Thanks for writing.
