Fall Festivities: Blogger Meet and Greet #7

By: | September 19, 2015 | Tags: , , , , , | 100 comments

Bloggers can network to meet new bloggers at the Meet and Greet.Welcome to My 7th Meet and Greet!

Thank you for coming to my party.  We haven’t had a blog party in a while, and I thought celebrating the start of my favorite season, fall, is a great reason to throw a party.

Are you thinking that it isn’t fall?  Since it starts this coming week, I figure the date is close enough.

To celebrate, in the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

I have started a group Pinterest board for followers of this blog.  If you wish to be added, in addition to leaving a link to a post, please leave your Pinterest name or Email, so I can send you an invitation.

I have also started a Link Exchange for followers of Mostly Blogging.  If you wish to be added, please leave your blog link and blogging niche in the comments section of the Link Exchange.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, Janice likes new followers too.

At today’s Meet and Greet, I am serving cheese.

Cheese7

Enjoy the cheese and the networking.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

I will keep holding these regular opportunities for bloggers to network.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at the Blogger Meet and Greet, please share.  The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would also be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party.

    Hello all,

I too am fairly new to the blogging arena. I started writing to fuel a writing void after leaving college but I’ve found that my blogs support my need to be creative.

I write about all things related to personal mastery concepts – having an intimate relationship with oneself by truly knowing who we are, how we show up to others, and what we want from life.

      Hi Chris,
Thank you for coming to my Meet and Greet. How are you? It’s been a very long time. Thank you for finding me at my new site. I have only been here a month, and I am trying to expand my following. For that reason, I was hoping to keep the Pinterest group board as a perk for my followers. It would be fun to pin together. If it isn’t too much trouble, would you mind signing up (again)? I checked all of my lists but couldn’t find you. Thanks so much.

  7. Sherrie Miranda at 12:43 pm

This post is a book review I wrote recently. I don’t know the author. It is not an exchange which it seems like we better stop doing anyway since Amazon is deleting reviews that they think are exchanged or even written by family. Finally, us women get rewarded for taking our husband’s names! It’s pretty hard to follow that trail, especially for me since I’ve been married THREE times! 😉 <3 (I am now on my third and final marriage.)
Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all in cyberspace! And if you ever come to San Diego, look me up. 😉

Sherrie Miranda's historically based, coming of age, Adventure novel “Secrets & Lies in El Salvador” is about an American girl in war-torn El Salvador: http://tinyurl.com/klxbt4y
Her husband made a video for her novel. He wrote the song too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P11Ch5chkAc

    Janice,
I’m Lynda and thank you for the invite to your “Seventh Meet & Greet!” What a wonderful way of meeting other bloggers!
I realise that Janice is putting a lot of her own time to point bloggers like me in the right direction, so double appreciation ?
we could all use a further hour in every day, just to #blog, tweet, and occasionally breathe, so I’m human!
Okay, about me.. hmm must be something of more interest like a full description of a pebble that I could write about?
I don’t have as much time at the mo, but its only temporary, we’ve all got to keep a roof over our heads and the tax man wants his cut,I’m following lots of webinars on ppc, seo etc etc and should soon be back to having time to write, blog, and in general explore blogs, and I might even have time to send a text .. yino of the “I’m drowning, not waving!” variety, laff. But seriously, q
My names Lynda, or Lynda C. karmashadow karmadreaming, and on Twitter just karmashadow
Firstly I want to thank you for the Invitation, I think your meet & greets are a great way of meeting like minded bloggers who blog!
I need to tidy my sites up (and write the url down until I can remember it), and then … I’m stuck, because I am eclectic and I like too much of a mix of things so a “Niche” needs to be double wardrobe size! ?.
Wishing everyone a relaxing, peaceful, calm, serene w/e and hope it’s free from hurry and worry.
    warm regards x

Hi everyone, (WOW so many lovely people here!!) the name is A.B. Mood and I write at Couch Potahto, and as the name suggests I write mostly about my procrastination endeavors and sometimes about the life and times of an average young adult like myself. I’ve been linked back on some of Janice’s posts once or twice, and trust me, they’ve been my most exciting days 😀 Janice is just too kind.

I’d love it if you could come by and say Hello! I’ll offer you some cookies :3

What a great idea! Hi, I am Tiffany and I blog over at unRehearsed, http://un-rehearsed.blogspot.com/

unRehearsed is a lifestyle blog that focuses on me, a 40ish mom raising a tween girl. Many mom blogs focus on babies and toddlers but there aren’t many that center on kids once they are potty trained and can form a sentence. I also like to give moms some relatable posts that’s just about themselves. I have been blogging for 3 years, previously as Gladiator in Heels. I am looking to meet some awesome bloggers, I would love to form some collaborations and tribe buddies.

Hi, everyone! I’m still new to blogging over at A Chat Over Coffee but I love to share the types of things my friends and I chat about over a cup of coffee. It’s a good thing I recently tested and moved several “Recipes I’d Like to Try” over to my “Recipes I’ve Tried and Liked” Pinterest board because I keep finding new recipes I’d like to try! This week I’ve been looking ahead and trying to get Christmas shopping out of the way. Hi everyone! I’m Michelle, & I love cheese! Do you have any crackers to go with it??

My blog is Mom’s Time ….http://milwaukee-mommy.blogspot.com/

I also love fall, & hope to get some great photos of my favorite season as everything changes color. My blog used to be about crafts … namely card making/ stamping. When I went back to work, my hobby got pushed aside. I still like to blog though, so now it’s just miscellaneous ramblings, stories, photos, & once in a while a recipe. My quest for an organized house. Living with a hoarder. Disney. Right now we have a German Exchange student staying with us so I’m hoping to have time to blog about that. So ….. to sum it up … I guess my blog is just about life 🙂

      Hi Michelle,
Sorry, no crackers, but if I complain, you can have some whine with the cheese. (Did you get it? A humor blogger I am not.)
We had a student staying with us for a while too, but he left. I love fall for so many reasons. I see we have that in common.
Thank you for coming to my Meet and Greet.

Hello Janice and thanks for your hospitality! My name is Gilly and I have a blog called http://www.anythingexcepthousework.co.uk.

As a former press and PR photojournalist and freelance glossy magazine contributor, my blog reflects the kind of variety seen in newspapers and magazines. I do not specialise in one area but prefer to write diverse stories about everyday life, as I did in my career.

I recently wrote a post aimed at other writers who would like to break into print magazine work (because blogging is not the only avenue to go down!) it can be found here http://www.anythingexcepthousework.co.uk/magazine-writing-fed-up-with-rejection/

Thanks for having me and for all your extremely helpful posts for those of us who are pretty new to the blogging game. Best wishes, Gilly Maddison.

Hi guys! First off, Janice, thank you so much for hosting this party.

Secondly, I’ve had my health and fitness/lifestyle blog up and running for the past 8 months and I’m having a relatively hard time making blogging buddies.

I love meeting fellow bloggers and I’m great at following people’s blogs, as well as leaving comments;-)

Here’s one of my posts from a couple weeks ago.

Hi, my name is Juana. I love cheese (especially mozzarella, cheddar, and gouda). I have two blogs, one (www.bringingbacktherubies.wordpress.com) in which I write about energy work and shamanism, and another (www.rubiesandsagebrush.wordpress.com) in which I write about more general topics like motherhood, parenting, music, dance, and occasionally I also write reviews and fiction. My latest post about cultural appropriation in the belly dance community has been shared quite a bit, which was quite unexpected.

Thanks for this post, and this blog. I appreciate having something like this as a resource.

    Have a great week!

Thanks for doing this one and others. I blog poetry, art and music videos, and very rarely geopolitical rants. Trying to cure myself of all thing politics, and the USA debates have gone a long way in the healing process.
