      Hi Gary!
You are right! The boat hasn’t sunk yet! We are still being chased around by Typhoon Nipartak (I think I spelled that right!) and don’t know what the itinerary will be from day to day. Shanghai is cancelled. Spending extra time in Beijing as a result. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. The Internet has been down here for two days!

Sorry you didn’t reply sooner?? You’re on a flipping cruise..I’m surprised you answered at all ?

Intrigued to know how you dealt with no Internet for two whole days mind! If the router disconnects here for an hour the house goes into withdrawal !!

Sounds like you’ve been to some really amazing places though. How long until you are back home?

          Hi Gary,
As long as the Internet doesn’t go down here while I’m trying to throw my two weekly linky parties, my head is above water (consider it a pun, if you will). Due to those concerns, I’m trying to throw my linky parties early to buy me time if it goes down at an inopportune time.
I’m home late Thursday, July 21. I’m having a lot of fun. Having unique experiences and finding time to exercise which I don’t have time to do at home since I’m always blogging.
However, I’ll be ready to come home after a month and a half away.

            Hi Janice,

The running gag strikes again!! Good to see you’re keeping the posts dropping in, not to mention replying to comments. I guess trips and uncertain internet connections are ideal for post scheduling methods. One week left, goes quickly doesn’t it? I find when things get close to the end I begin to mentally prep to go home. Not sure that’s a good way to enjoy the last few days ?

Good to see you keeping afloat and that your blogging is still going swimmingly. Also neat to see its still a ‘Linky’ party and not a ‘Leaky’ one ?

          • Janice Wald | at 5:18 pm

            Hi Gary,
Your water jokes keep on running! (Get it, running water? That’s my water joke.) Well, you’re not a political writer, and you’re not a comedy writer. I’m more than happy to give you an outlet for those impulses by writing comments. I love to read them– entertaining and makes me think, so analytical.
You are right. I am mentally preparing to go home. I’m thinking about packing instead of actually packing!

You’re getting as bad as me! I shall make a concerted effort to buoy up my words with none aquatic wordage.

True I need an outlet for my political issues, that, if started, will be in danger of sinking into comedic revelry. Anything that makes a reader think is working too ?

I think you might find adjusting to normality a bit tricky after this cruise. It sounds brilliant ?
