Friday…I rather think I should just cut and paste the same thing….simply because it comes round too fast and here I am once more…how’s the cruise Janice? Still going or drawing to a close? Not that I’m envious looking out at more rain…it’s why it’s green over here you know…all the flipping water….

Thought I’d lob in some shameless self promotion….next thing I’ll be having to do some posts too…not sure how if times going to keep flying as it does… Got my manuscript back from the proofer now though…which, considering the political week here, is a positive!

    Hope alls well ?

    • Janice Wald | at 7:38 pm

      Hi Gary,
I read your comments about the cruise and the rain to my husband. We both laughed. Thanks for that. =)
Congratulations on getting your manuscript back. Now, I’m jealous. I have a book in the works too. It’s actually a collection of blog posts. My publisher wants me to pick 20 of my closest blogging friends to read and review it in exchange for a free book. Guess what? You made the cut! Would you be able to do it? My publisher doesn’t want to launch (do I know what that means?) until September, so it sounds like you’d have time. No pressure, no rush.

Hey, that was deadly serious…it’s wet over here in fact so wet the word has lost its meaning and requires a new one to define the wetness! Although currently it’s sunny so now it’s humid. Summer indeed, still harvested my broad beans and have garlic to do next week. Not sure that’s at all relevant apart from rain has made it unecessary to get the old hose pipe out…not sure that’s relevant either. Apart from cruise envy and Hong Kong next! You going to give us a pictorial gloat post ?

Err, jealous? I’ve yet to find a publisher…that’s scary. No idea how to do that or where to go. I have a week to go through the proofers changes and then it’s time to start looking…or procrastinating…haven’t decided which yet ?

I am indeed honoured to make your close blogging friends list. I’d love to read and review. Bound to have loads of tips in too and do I need them ? Publishing launch is the publish date. What they want now is the pre-launch promotion. The read and review is part of that so when it’s out you have five star reviews already there. I’m currently reading a friends book too, well proofing it really…odd thing is I can do that but not my own…too close and impossible to look at it coldly line by line and hack it to bits.

Looking forward to reading it now ?

        • Janice Wald | at 8:27 pm

          Hi Gary,
Thank you for agreeing to read and review my social media Ebook for me. I’m grateful. Thanks as well for the help with the terminology (launch vs. prelaunch) and the timeline of events. I hate to keep asking my publisher for answers as she is helping me for free.

            Hi Janice,
Rather looking forward to it. Give me a heads up when it’s ready to go out so I ensure my mail sifting doesn’t lose it!!!

Any questions re that topic I may be able to help with don’t be afraid to ask ? I kind of owe you some payback !!!

          • Gary Jefferies | at 8:21 am

No sure where this reply will fall but payback….yes, for all those blogging tips I’m miles behind with ?

Trying to catch up now and maybe even implement one or two ?

      Hi Jeanette,
Great to see you. Thank you for writing me. Did you hear I’m on a month-long cruise?
In response to what you wrote, I have the Snapchat app but do not use it for blogging. I subscribed to Hubspot’s Marketing Blog after reading your comment. Thank you for the tip. I’ll bookmark the Snapchat article.
