Friday again…already….and holiday, hope it goes well, cruise wasn’t it? Yes…where was I? Oh, holiday…making this an example of a scheduled post? Our mutual friend Melinda was talking about those earlier…might work for me except I’d have to schedule the schedule…oooh deja vu moment, I said that to her too ?

    https://fictionisfood.wordpress.com

Got a review here yesterday too, well not actually there as such, the reblog of the review is. Not sure why I said that except it’s cool and by someone called Gary, which makes it sound dubious and gratuitous second blog shameless self promotion….except it isn’t and I’m a bit chuffed as its the first time it’s happened ?

    • Janice Wald | at 4:04 pm

      Hi Gary,
I forgot what chuffed means, LOL. However, I can tell that something exciting happened to you– an accolade. Thank you for reaching out to tell me. 1. True friends who share their joy with each other Awww… 2. Blogging can be so frustrating due to the competition, it’s great when other readers can find out that we can achieve and eventually celebrate our accomplishments. Really, thank you for telling me. I’m happy for you.
I did not preschedule the Blogger’s Pit Stop. I post Saturday (prescheduled), Sunday (prescheduled), Monday (a linky, so not prescheduled), and Tuesday (prescheduled). I will still be posting two linky parties a week in July (not prescheduled). As long as I have Internet where I am, I can do it.
You mentioned my holiday (vacation in the USA). Yes, I am sailing around the Pacific as I type this on my way to Darwin, Australia. Since we sailed from Sydney, almost everyone here is from Australia. I am learning a great deal about the culture, government, and politics of Australia. Everyone is very friendly. Everyone has heard about Donald Trump and our presidential election the extent of which surprises me.
I would love to read your review. Can you send me the link?
How would they say goodbye in Australia? They are rubbing off on me. How about G’day!
Oh, bye the way, our little secret– we are having another Meet and Greet Saturday since I’m away and can’t make new content. What was that clever blurb you mentioned you would start with? I hope I will see you tomorrow at my impromptu blog party.

Hi Janice, chuffed is, essentially, rather pleased with something…which is a rare commodity given the state of the U.K. at this moment of live history making. You’re dead right about true friends sharing so….

        https://fictionisfood.wordpress.com/2016/06/23/a-z-pe-challenge-day-7-g/

And competition is indeed rife. I’m finding my blog is getting lost at the moment. I’ve eased back over the last few weeks with school exams for my eldest. They finished last week and we had a referendum bomb dropped on Friday. Still, England rugby trounced the Aussies in a 3-0 whitewash on Saturday so that was a positive lol.

Trump has global exposure….mostly in disbelief that he’s got so far!!

Goodbye in Australian….not sure toodle-oo, cheerio, hooroo….I think they are antipodes not slang but not 100% on that. G’day is hello…I know that one !!

I think I posted in the meet and greet but now I’ve read this I’m not sure now….age brain rules….terrible….really…I best check ?

Good to hear the cruise is going well though…I could do with being on it right now !!?

          • Gary Jefferies | at 1:51 pm

            Hi Janice,

You were shocked….I spent Friday staring into space in disbelief. The in campaign was terrible and the out campaign economical with the truth at best. Shambolic exercise in voting on a subject the majority of the electorate were not savvy enough to make a competant choice. Obviously that’s just a personal opinion but the fallout validates my point sadly. Cameron had no choice but to resign after the result. That leadership change should happen soon….the opposition party has also imploded because their leadership was none existent in the campaign to remain in. And Scotland voted in so want to separate off if we are out. Broken in Europe and fracturing the UK…I saw this coming weeks ago as an outcome too….that’s what’s got me gutted like a fish ?

          • Janice Wald | at 5:28 pm

            Hi Gary,
I am sure, if I was shocked, you were a thousand times more shocked than I was! I agree with you that David Cameron had no choice but to resign. The situation is so sad on so many fronts.
