Blogger Meet and Greet: Share Your Posts

By: | April 23, 2015 | Tags: , |

BirdsWelcome to my third Meet and Greet.  I have seen some great connections made in the past and am hoping they will continue to be made.  I will keep holding these regular opportunities for bloggers to network.

My first two Meet and Greets were a way for bloggers to share their blogs.  Today’s Meet and Greet is about introducing your blog and putting your best post in the comments section. It should be representative of a post someone will see when they visit your site.

I encourage anyone looking for new blogs to read or new bloggers to network with to share in the comments section.

All bloggers are welcome to use this post as a self-promotion thread.  If you are trying to grow your readership, you are welcome to promote your writing here.

And ofcourse i would return the favor . Thanks in advance 🙂 🙂

    • Good Woman

I took a look at your blog. You have a very interesting approach to some of the topics, like happiness and your “I believe”. It makes me think about what those things are to me.

      • salwaadlyy

It’s really good of you to host this party and to let us get to discover other bloggers out there! I hope I’ll find many interesting posts to visit.

If someone wants to visit and have a peek in to the thoughts and life of me, I’ve decided to share a post that other bloggers have been inspired by:
It’s about visiting the areas around you and being a tourist in your own region.

    • Good Woman

It’s nice to see you here. Of course we are already following each other but always good to be able to spread our blogging communities.

  3. Elle Knowles

These meet and greets are a great way to meet new bloggers and get the word out to others about your site. I’m finally writing on my new book – which doesn’t have a name yet – due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control! 😉 We had quite an adventure homesteading in Alaska with our parents in the late 50’s -60’s! Through my mothers letters home to relatives and her hand written journal and notes and memories from four of five children, I will attempt to put it all down on paper. Read about that here – and visit my author FB page for daily up-dates, details and pics not planned on for the book.
Thanks again Janice for this opportunity to advertise. Hope others take full advantage. ~Elle

Thank you so much for such an opportunity. My blog is intended to give a glimpse into the mind of a young woman (me), share my thoughts on current affairs, peculiar anecdotes and personal experiences, as well as discuss some issues faced on a daily basis. I am a foodie, so I post videos of my favorite youtube cooking channels. As a new blogger, it has been quite a journey, but I have received immense support from other, more experienced bloggers. Do check out my blog by clicking on my name.

  6. julz

hi Janice – nice to see we have some similar ideas – so I am going to put a post up from each of my blogs is what it says it is a blog about all kinds of crafts – mainly textile crafts, but I am always open to guests writing about their work and have a show & tell archive for people to contribute to – you can find the Show & Tell Archive here

My other blog “the spare” is just for fun, showing off my photography and at the moment I’m doing the A-Z challenge and am doing a series of posts about poultry.

BUT more importantly, I also have a permanent page where anyone can leave their links and blatantly promote their blog/website, in the hope that others who come to leave their links will perhaps find them useful/interesting and get in touch.

you can find “your spare” here

  7. Good Woman

Thank you for the meet and greet opportunity. I am a fairly new blogger, having started only in January. My blog covers a variety of topics. After many years of working I am getting ready to retire and I blog about various topics including early years of my life, my cross stitching, various topics that interest me. I’d be happy to have you check out my blog and I will be visiting others who post here.

Thank you. I have been around but haven’t been real good about commenting lately. I’m trying to balance blogging with other things in my life so and am still trying to figure out how to do it all.

        • julz

I’m having the same problem – doing the A-Z challenge at the moment, and its ‘taken over my life’ – will be very glad when the last post is done – next week!

          • Good Woman

Thank you for hosting it. I still want to visit more of the blogs from your comments. Some of them look very interesting and I just need to make the time.

  8. plaguedparents

Hi! What a great idea, thank you for hosting 🙂
We began our blog at the end of December as a way to cope with a difficult family situation, brought on by mental illness. My husband and I run the blog together, although he is the true talent. He has always loved writing, and although we began blogging to help maintain our own sanity, the blog has really helped him explore his love of writing. We started out focusing on family situations, but have covered education, activism, mental illness, poetry, and we have been involved with #1000Speak for Compassion. We are pretty eclectic, and would love for you to check us out!
Here is our latest #1000Speak post, thanks for reading and we will be making the rounds!

  21. TheLastWord

Hi, I write a blog about, hmm, what do I write about? There are lots of memories, some funny ( they weren’t then..), some sad, all nostalgic. There are recipes, travelogues, some attempts at poetry and other mish mash.

I actually was trying to write a book, stalled, then decided to use my neglected blog to practise my writing skills. Book is moving very slowly along…..

A couple of personal favorites: ( recipe included ) ( a terrifying trip)

Thanks! I hope you enjoy my blog.

      • TheLastWord

I do keep an eye on your blog.. 🙂 It’s just that there’s been too much on my plate recently. I’ve fallen quite behind on my reading and writing too.

  22. S. Robert Cyre

Well, who doesn’t like a good party for mingling? If it were a real party, I’d be the dorky one close to the proscuitto-cracker hors d’ oeuvres talking the ear off the unlucky sap stuck next to me. What could I possibly be telling him? “You need to check out my blog, buddy! It’s Christian! And it’s funny! Of course those two things go together, you are such a kidder!” Intermittently, I’d be using my tongue as a toothpick.

No, not really. Nice to meet you guys. 🙂

What a fantastic idea. I am so excited to scroll through the comments and discover new blogs.

My blog is called Ctrl.Alt.Believe. I am hopeless when it comes to technology, but I have challenged myself to turn this around by enrolling in a super intense, 4 month computer programming bootcamp! Whether or not I will survive to the end of the camp is still very much an open question. You will have to read to find out.

Here is a post that I feel represents my writing style and what you are likely to encounter on my blog. Enjoy and happy blogging!

    • Janice Wald

Welcome! Happy Blogging to you! Thank you for coming to my Meet and Greet! I hope you were able to make some new connections.

I like to mix it up between the serious and humorous.. so here is a couple of example. My regular Sunday Show which has various central themes and humour of one sort or another. Look forward to welcoming you over there for a tour. and
I love to promote other authors, artists and musicians in Five Star Treatment, Authors in the Sun and guest posting.

Hello everybody! My name is Kenzie Rae Hollister.I’m eleven years old, but my birthday is just around the corner in my world. I was born on October 31 (that’s right, Halloween). I have what I like to call super powers. My big sister Jemma calls it psychokinesis. I am a real person inasmuch as the velveteen rabbit is real, but I can’t meet you at the mall or anything.

I will be posting cool pictures, some of my poems and paintings, and a few of Jemma’s recipes. She’s always on this stupid lo-carb diet. :-p !!

I will also be posting some “paranormal occurrences” that have happened to me and other people created by my good friend Yvonne Tibbs (she’s pretty cool for an old person). Some of these are velveteen rabbit real and some are planet earth real. It will be up to you to decided which. The answers will be revealed on later posts so you’ll have to keep watching to find out. 😉

It was very nice to meet you. Love, Kenzie
