Blogger Meet and Greet

Welcome to our Blogger Meet and Greet Birthday Party!

This week, I am celebrating one year at Mostly Blogging. I do not consider this my blogversary since I started blogging in November of 2014. Therefore, this is my first anniversary at this site. You are all invited to celebrate Mostly Blogging‘s one year birthday with me.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.

At today’s blog party, we are having birthday cake. Enjoy the cake and the networking.

Note: At other Meet and Greets, guests are encouraged to return and leave different links to articles in different comment boxes. You are welcome to return as often as you like and leave links.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at the Blogger Meet and Greet, please share on your social media.  The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would also be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party.

      Couldn’t resist…love that post

For ‘geek’ related info try here…

And just to confuse Janice ….

      Number Six: Where am I?
      Number Two: In the Village.
Number Six: What do you want?
      Number Two: Information.
Number Six: Whose side are you on?
Number Two: That would be telling. We want information… information… information.
Number Six: You won’t get it.
Number Two: By hook or by crook, we will.
      Number Six: Who are you?
Number Two: The new Number Two.
Number Six: Who is Number One?
Number Two: You are Number Six.
Number Six: I am not a number! I am a free man!
      Number Two: [laughs]

      Hey Kris!
So great to see you again! It’s been a long time! Sorry to disappoint, but no, I do not have any celebratory doughnuts. Maybe next time.
You were one of my earliest readers, so it is really great that you are here celebrating one year with me. Thank you for coming.

Ye Gods Janice, you don’t half consume swathes of cake! But a year anniversary of mostly blogging is awesome. Pretty amazing stuff really and always useful snippets and info. Especially that last one on schedules. I’m working on that this summer.

For those that don’t know me…hello…and those that do, I hope everything’s going well in your time zone…in fact I wish the same for those I don’t know (yet) too. I’m six months into my blog, Facebook author page, google plus and Twitting. Info can be found on my ‘About’ page which all are welcome to check out…although if you do…then be warned comment, like, follow…and I will hunt you down too ?

To sum up, I’m currently British…pending what happens after Brexit is activated….then I might just be English…which is…hmm…rubbish idea really…modern world contracting when it should be teaching out and unifying….stupid politicos…digress…random soap box…. Yes, British, write a but too. Supernatural horror, fantasy fiction, psychological thriller type stuff and wander about here and there with mindfulness and quotes, I love quotes so I moved into here to write and waffle on a new platform with a huge readership following.

On my own blog I’m serialising a, well, series…odd that…anywho, it’s a dabble with short stories that began to run together. Not my best writing, but concept wise it’s acted as a backdrop to other ramblings and due to feedback I’m thinking of revisiting it and turning into a manuscript proper…here’s a sample; part 4 if my aging amnesia is still functioning correctly!

Have a great weekend all ?

Congratulations to you! I have tweeted your link.

I am a British teacher by day, a British foodblogger in my spare time. My blog has a wide variety of recipes that are easy to follow for cooks of all abilities.

My slow cooker recipes tend to be the most popular recipes on my site along with the more unusual cake and bake recipes.

    Examples here:

Good Morning all!! I have three blogs – and a full time job, a husband and 4 cats, so I’m pretty busy!! I’m trying to build my blogs enough that I have a small income when I retire in six years. The one I work the most is my cooking blog:

But I also like to travel around the NW so I started this one (which is a little harder to keep up when you are too busy to wander the streets!)

And finally – I am also a photographer – and this is the blog I’ve had the longest –

Now off to visit some of yours and make some new friends –

    And Happy Anniverary Janice!!

EEEEEEEK 1 YEAR OF MOSTLY BLOGGING. That’s a lot of hard work! I’m so happy for you, a year is a long time and I can’t wait for my own blogiversary. Even though it’s still a couple months off.

ANYWAYS (since I’m superb at getting off topic), I run a book blog which is partly wonderful and partly confusing because WP still surprises me and I’m still trying to catch up with all the current standards and stuff going on. Running a book blog is something really entertaining because I soon discovered that just because I have ten minutes of free time on a fateful day (on which I created my blog), I don’t always have that free time and blogging normally takes a bit longer. But it’s proving to be a legit amazing journey.

    Check me out?

      Hi Veda,
You mentioned concerns over free time. Many bloggers struggle with how to find time to manage their blogging tasks after blogging for years. That’s why I like to offer productivity posts. A busy home-schooling mom blogger posted on Friday about how to improve time management. Her post resonated with readers. We all can relate.
Thanks for coming to my blog party over the weekend!

      Hi Tess,
I’ve missed you. I am doing a post on blogging and health issues. I am sorry to hear you haven’t been feeling well. Were your health issues caused by the blogging? Thank you for the kind words as I start my second year at Mostly Blogging. I am glad to see you and glad you are feeling better.
