Blogger Meet and Greet

Welcome to My 15th Meet and Greet!

It is time for my bimonthly Meet and Greet.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.

Blogger Meet and Greet #networking

At today’s Meet and Greet, we are having almonds.

Enjoy the nuts and the networking.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

I will be holding these opportunities for bloggers to network twice a month.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at the Blogger Meet and Greet, please share.  The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would also be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party.

Eek, I’m allergic to almonds! 🙂

I’m Marie of Just Plain Living. One of the best introductions to me is my most popular post Living Without Refrigeration. Yes, we live off-grid, very low impact, and without modern appliances!

I’d love to have you come and check it out – and if you like it, take a moment to get on the list. I write about homesteading, preparedness, Christian faith and simple living. The downloadable that you’ll get will help you build your food storage slowly, three months at a time..

Hi – I’m Dawn, and my blog is JustWriteIt.Live. Mostly I write about (duh) writing and publishing, and frequently re-blog other writing/publishing-related sites. But sometimes I write (or rant) about my pet peeve of the day. Those range from people who don’t like dogs, to inconsiderate neighbors (or particularly considerate ones), to (horrors) political topics. Would love to see more followers!

Hi, I’m Lee and I live in the middle of Alaska, away from the roads and large towns. I love living in small places away from people. I write two blogs but my main blog is and the other is a specialty one dealing with math and technology.
I love almonds so much but don’t like the flavored ones much because they are too salty.
Janice – Thank you for these get togethers.

Happy Saturday to Janice and fellow bloggers…

My name is Jennifer. I am new to the blogging community. Very exciting!

I blog as Sparky Jen. My blog is very much like my personality, direct and *sparky!* I like to redress topics that come to mind, by adding a *spark* to them. I also enjoy reblogging, so I tend to read a lot. Learning and growing as part of something greater then myself is key!

It’s my hope that you will visit my blog, and leave *sparky* comments. How often do you get to say exactly what you’re thinking? Have at it.

No Beating Around The Bush Allowed (also my tagline)!

    Enjoy Your Weekend.

I’m pretty new to the blogging world (4 months in) and am enjoying every moment of it. I am blown away by the fantastic blogging community – I never expected to connect with so may great people willing to offer so much valuable information and support you in your journey.

I’m also broadening my horizon an learning about all sorts of new non blog related topics – there are so many fantastic sites out there that I would never had chance to read had I not got the blogging bug.

I would love to connect with other bloggers that share my passion and are also looking to network.

Lets see how we can help each other!

Hey, I’m Tam and I have a midlife adventure travel blog at! I am quite adventurous and blog about getting out of one’s comfort zone, but I also blog about midlife journeys. My husband had an unexpected journey a couple of years ago and had a double lung transplant…out of the blue. Crazy times, crazy life! My blog is full of underwater and travel photography as well! Come and visit me!

    • Janice Wald | at 10:31 pm

      Hi Tam,
I believe nice to meet you is in order, so… nice to meet you. So relieved your husband survived his surgery! I bet those were scary times. I have also blogged about photography, but underwater sounds thrilling. Thanks for coming to my party and introducing yourself to us. I almost became a travel blogger since I travel often, but I settled on blogging tips instead.

    Hi everyone,
My name is Iman I am the blogger behind Single Mom, What a Life! I have been blogging on and off for 5 years. I started as a way to deal with stress and anxiety when I was pregnant and my marriage was falling apart. My current blog is about single motherhood (as I am sure the name gave away LOL). It covers topics such as dating, parenting, family, and sometimes I toss in some random post. Here is my about page to get a better idea about the blog

This is my first time doing this so thanks for the opportunity and I cannot wait to take a look at the blogs.

  12. Lori Carlson | at 6:18 am

Hello, Janice and all of your readers.

I am Lori and I write poetry and fiction via prompts over at Promptly Written

I am a bit late to the party, as usual, but I would like to invite your readers to check out my month-long series of Horror Tales that I have been writing throughout February. There is only one day left of Tales, but you can read all of the recent ones here:

    Have a great Sunday! ~Lori~

  13. DT Krippene | at 11:49 am

Have a question for my fellow bloggers. Can I construct a quasi-utopian, matriarchal society that may over time, deteriorate into suspiciously male-like irrationality, and not have it become a comic book Wonder Woman society of Amazons that reads like a guy wrote it? Yes, how do I present a world where women can behave badly? Any ideas you have are certainly welcome at

Just, keep it clean, and keep it real.

  14. Yes Roanne | at 6:07 pm

What great participation. Looks like I have a lot of blogs to check out. Thanks to Janice for hosting this event.
I do not have a posting schedule as I’m focusing on building a not-so-related business, but this is one of my favorite posts and especially if you’re blogging for business, you may enjoy it. Thanks in advance for visiting, reading and subscribing.
