Would you like to market your books, products, and services?
Here are the advantages to using unique hashtags:

- Unique hashtags help with branding.
You’ve heard social media best practices include using hashtags on sites like Twitter and Instagram.
There are several ways to find blogger hashtags to help you grow your brand.
For instance, you can look at trending hashtags on Twitter. One of the advantages of using Twitter is knowing what content is popular at the moment by looking at Twitter’s trending worldwide hashtags. Find them in the Explore Section.
Rather than take the time to do that research, you can use this post to find blogger hashtags. I did the research and put together this resource for you.
When I first started as a blogger, using this guide to blogger hashtags helped me grow on Twitter. Eventually, making a comparable resource for blogger hashtags effective on Instagram helped as well.
In this guide to blogger hashtags, I offer them to you.
Use these blogger hashtags to grow your brand and grow your social media following on Twitter and Instagram. Clearly, these strategies lead to more traffic when people follow you to your website from social media sites.
By the time you’re done reading this guide to blogger hashtags, you will know:
Why you should use hashtags

How to use Instagram hashtags
The difference between a tag and a hashtag
What a hashtag is
In addition, you will have 429 blogger hashtags to use on Twitter and Instagram.
These hashtags are loosely organized. I tried to avoid duplication, but, in some cases, duplication is needed. For instance, “#MakeMoneyOnline” might fall in the Make Money section or the Marketing section.
Let’s get started discovering effective blogger hashtags.
What is a Hashtag?
UPDATE: July 2022
If you prefer to get your information by watching videos instead of reading text, you will find more information explaining blogger hashtags in this video.
A hashtag is represented by the pound symbol (#). By putting the symbol in front of words combined together, you enable people to find your themed content.
Content themes and hashtags associated with them are listed in this post organized by niche.
Don’t confuse a hashtag (#) with a tag (@). Tags enable you to contact people on social media sites.

What is a branded hashtag?
A branded hashtag is one created by you and associated with your brand. You can use these unique branded hashtags to hold contests or giveaways. They easily help you locate the participants to pick a winner.
You can also use branded hashtags to curate your own content to easily find on social media sites. Just type in your brand’s hashtag.

On Twitter, put these hashtags in your tweets. On Instagram, put them in your captions.
You are allowed 30 hashtags in your Instagram caption, but on Twitter, you’ll look spammy if you use more than 2-3.
What if you find Twitter or Instagram hashtags are not working in generating social media growth?
Try to avoid one-word hashtags. They could get lost in the noisy spaces on social media. Experiment and see what works for you; I realize there are one-word hashtags here.
Also, capitalize each word in the hashtag. Otherwise, long hashtags will look like a bunch of illegible letters.
Discuss avoiding same hashtag groups on Instagram. You could be shadowbanned. Instagram frowns on using the same hashtag groups repeatedly in a row.
You can find more information about the Instagram Shadow Ban here:
Twitter recommends blogger hashtags for you.
So does Instagram.
Look at how Twitter helps you find relevant blogger hashtags:
Click Retweet/Retweet with Comment/Add a Comment.
The post was about digital marketing. As I started typing #digital, look what happened:

Since the post was about changing your digital marketing strategies during Covid-19, I used the #digitaltransformation hashtag. The hashtag was currently trending with 140 tweets within the last hour. You boost your chance of a retweet by sharing content other people are currently tweeting about.
If these blogger hashtags aren’t sufficient, there are many tools to help you find blogger hashtags.
For instance, there is a great demand for basketball hashtags and football hashtags.
If there is interest in basketball hashtags, football hashtags, or any hashtags not mentioned in this post, use a hashtag tool.
Free Hashtag Tools:
Other tools help you find hashtags as well. For example, the Preview App and the Inssist Chrome Extension help find relevant hashtags related to your content. Here is an Inssist tutorial if you need one.
This is controversial since there are varying opinions on this question. Some people feel it’s like getting 30 lotto cards. Be happy you get that many and use them all! Others feel they clutter your caption. Try both and replicate which gets you more traction.
Take advantage of holidays and special days. Make social media content and use the hashtags that go with that holiday or special day. I get the most interest and that way and you should too.
Social media sites ban hashtags if they perceive they might incite violence or misinformation to spread.
To my delight, I found my posts in the Instagram Explore Section where your posts generate the most visibility. According to my post’s insights, people found me through hashtags. They do help.
In closing, this resource offered you tools and methods to help you find blogger hashtags you can use to
- gain exposure
- generate support from other social media users
- market your books
