Blog Party, Meet and Greet

Welcome to Our MLK Blog Party!

This past Monday, Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday was celebrated in the United States. Schools and government agencies were closed.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights advocate. He is also remembered for his “I Have a Dream” speech. He wrote how he had a dream that people from all walks of life would come together. On blogs, we do come together from all over the world and all walks of life.

At today’s blog party, we are having cake.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.

Note: At other Meet and Greets, guests return and leave different links to articles in different comment boxes. You are welcome to return as often as you like and leave links.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at our Meet and Greet, please share on your social media. The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would also be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party.

I read the 10 things you have learned in 7 years of blogging, and I was interested in what you’d change. I’m currently debating with myself about asking people what they want to read.

Indeed the cake does looks amazing. I love anything chocolate! I enjoy trying new recipes and do look for healthy options. I am a freelance writer, pen several food columns, review books and promote diverse children’s literature.
Thanks for the opportunity to post here.

Thank you for hosting. Not only is your blog amazing, but you are also. To be so successful, an influencer, an award winning blogger, I think it is amazing to use that word again that you stayed to your roots and continue to be there for Anyone who need you.

It’s been a while since I last attended a blog party… I have been busy writing and researching.
My blog’s purpose is to show bloggers how to create traffic and make money with their blogs.
I have a free e-course if you are interested.

Hi guys!! I just started my blog for 2018 after a few months of setting things up and figuring out logistics. I tend to write about advice on life, more specifically faith, friends, and the future. Some of my articles include college selection tips, finding your faith as a busy teenager, and keeping a positive mental attitude. I also will be doing a book review at the end of every month!

Let me know if you have an advice for me!

Hi John – Thank you for your very insightful and useful post for a rooky and social blogger like me. I have SU, Tweeted and will also share this on my FB page, as it as this is a post that others need to see.

    Hi Janice,
Great looking cake. So glad to join the party. My latest post is inspired by a disabled reader of my website who had a question about using hand controls to drive a car. My latest post is about the pros and cons of using hand controls to achieve car independence. For the most part, I think they are a good thing. Still, I point out where one has to use caution.

I see the party’s buzzing already! And everybody has plenty to discuss, which is great. MLK Day reminds me of our visit to the National Civil Rights Museum, which was a key part of our Tennessee and Mississippi road trip. My blog focus is travel, so I’m linking here to my most recent post on getting your travel funds together: I hope there’s something there that is useful to everyone who likes to enjoy their vacation time to the full.

FYI: I got an email saying Bernie Jackson had replied to a comment I left above, but I can’t find the reply–it doesn’t seem to be here. I’m not sure if a link’s broken down or if–well, technology baffles me enough that my imagination breaks down thinking about what might have gone wrong. But Bernie, if you’re out there, I did try to acknowledge your comment.

Hello all! Greetings! I am LovelySerene. I run a blog that looks into cooking light meals. I hope that you all will enjoy it if it is something that is of interest to you

I am a relatively new blogger, having only started a few months ago, so please forgive me as I am still learning all about this blogging thing. It is great to meet you all in the blog community!

Thanks for hosting. I have been totally crazy busy (That is what I get for teaching math at the beginning of a new semester). I am Patrick and I am at Adventures in Weseland or Here is an old blog I did at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. The reason I choose this one is because it features a little bit of the King Memorial they have there:
