Welcome to My New Site!

Blogging Networking OpportunitiesThank you for coming to my party.  We haven’t had a blog party in a while, and I thought launching a new site was a great reason.

To celebrate, in the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

I have started a group Pinterest board for followers of this blog.  If you wish to be added, in addition to leaving a link to a post, please leave your Pinterest name or Email, so I can send you an invitation.

Blogger Meet and Greet Networking Opportunity

At today’s blog party, I am serving cake.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at the Blogger Meet and Greet, please share.  The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

Thanks for visiting my place and leaving few comments there. I really appreciate that. And, yes, now started following you….:) Looking forward to read your posts.

Thank you for coming over to check out my blog I really enjoyed reading yours. Enjoyed the quotes and your reviews and found the Agatha Christie challenge interesting as I spent a summer reading most of those books a long time ago!

Thank you so much for coming to my new site and joining our Meet and Greet. I’m glad you like the cake. Have fun networking.

I enjoyed reading your blog and will bookmark it but I didn’t find a way to sign up to follow it. I also wasn’t able to comment as I don’t have a Disqus account and I really don’t want to sign up for another account.
My comment on the Summer Goal’s post is as follows:
“You have some great and varied goals. I’ve completed a couple things that have been on my mental list for quite a while. Both involved cleaning and most of the rest of my goals do as well, but some are hobby related.”

  6. Ellen Hawley | at 6:14 am

Thanks for the invite. I seem to still be following you, even with the change of address. When I tried moving I lost all my followers and fled back to my original site.

I write about the spidery corners of British (and occasionally American) culture, and about living as an American in the UK. This post is about the press getting hysterical about seagulls.

      Hi Ellen,
I thought your comment about the dog to Annabelle was funny.
I was concerned about losing followers too. However, I read articles, communicated with others who had recently moved, and my tech. helpers assured me it would be fine. I hear if someone followed on Blogger, they were not redirected and would have to subscribe again, but I do not think I had too many followers on Blogger.
It’s great seeing you here at the new site. I’m glad you are still getting my notifications too.

      Hi Charles,
Of course I remember you. I see your posts in Network Blogs, a publication I receive in my Email. I see your name, your posts, and I am reminded of you. I’m sorry I have not been over. I have been busy this summer travelling the world and setting up my new site.
Funny that we have interests in the same music in common. I am normally not a jazz fan, but I love those songs your posts played.

Morning everyone! I’m Leisel from Skill Up Skillet, a weekly updated geek and game themed blog. If you enjoy gaming and/or good food, probably you’ll love me. Sarcasm and humor abound because I’m not perfect and I don’t try to be, either.

Here’s a link to my latest post, World’s Greatest Enchiladas from the indie game Guacamelee (would you believe IndieBox provided the recipe?) :

I wish I understood Twitter better, because it got a ton of positive attention, including kudos from the game developer, DrinkBox Studios. That was cool.

Janice, I won’t pretend I’m great with Pinterest but if you’d like a laugh my name on there is SkillUpSkillet. =D

Hi I am so excited to see your website~

Have fun with it and many blessings for you and your website.

My site I started after I was widowed. My husband died at the age of 39 from Cardiomyopathy. I have 4 sons left behind. 13, 11, 9 and 4. It has been a little over 3 years now. My blog has been real and healing for me. I work hard at it, but something you love to do is never truly work. I am now remarried with an old soulmate from back in my military days. My sons and I are beyond blessed. I treasure life, every breath and everyday.

I wish everyone more blessings than your life can hold.

I am new to the blogosphere (is that a word?). I started my website and blog posting in mid July to keep me accountable so that I will continue to write. My name is Leah and I am 57 years old, living in Central Florida. I have been a writer all of my life, but never had the courage to say the words out loud until recently. I hit a bit of a rough patch personally at the end of July, but am determined to continue this journey and hope to post once a week.

I’m happy to be here, to learn anything I can, and to follow other bloggers in the community!

You invited us to SHAMELESSLY, self-promote! Thank you. Here’s a pitch:
In my retirement, I wanted to see if I could write a series of essays that general readers would find enlightening, if not interesting. I created:
On my home page I have a working list of about 20 of my important literature references. I also have a page of The Recorded Music I would take on a space journey. I also, shamelessly, do alot of reblogging of post that I find enlightening. I have 80 posts & rebogs.
Recenly, I have added sound tracks to some posts to see if that added to “my hook banners”. My newest post is:
