Welcome to Our Blog Party Celebrating the Launch of My 1st Ebook!
This Monday my publisher Lois will upload my first ebook, AN INSIDER’S GUIDE TO BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL BLOG, to the Amazon Kindle Program (AKP).
After ten months of nurturing what people are fondly referring to as my “baby,” I will finally be a published author.
Since people have written to congratulate me, it seemed only fitting today’s blog party be a celebration.
There is a graduation cap on the cake since I am graduating from blogger to published author.
I realize I promised a guest at my last party hamburgers, but it’s not every week you become a published author. The burgers, condiments, and refreshments originally scheduled for today’s menu will have to wait.
Early reviews are favorable!
According to Marsha, one of my beta readers, “You have the characteristics that are going to make you and your book a huge success. First, you have a lot of research and ideas that are very helpful. Second, you have a can-do attitude. Third, like a young, capable person that you are, you are experimenting with all of these tools and tips. You WILL make this a successful venture.
Melinda Mitchell declared, “Currently, there are over 1 billion websites online. In order to make yours stand out and achieve visibility, you need an action plan.” If your action plan does NOT include devouring this book, you’ll be sorry! GET IT TODAY!!”
Believing interested readers would preorder before the ebook launch, I compiled five additional social media articles not included in the ebook. As it turns out, the book should be published this Monday, so there will not be any preordering.
Disappointed I can not give out the incentives, I decided anyone who orders AN INSIDER’S GUIDE TO BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL BLOG within the first month can have the five additional articles.
All they have to do is forward me the receipt, and I’ll email them the link to the incentives.
I appreciate you coming to my party to celebrate my impending ebook launch.
In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.
Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.
If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.
At today’s Meet and Greet, we are having cake.
Enjoy the dessert and the networking.
Note: At other Meet and Greets, guests return and leave different links to articles in different comment boxes. You are welcome to return as often as you like and leave links.
I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.
Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at the Meet and Greet, please share on your social media. The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.
If you get a chance to promote the link to this party on your site, that would also be much appreciated since it would help make others aware of this blog party.
