Blog party

Welcome to Our Blog Party!

It’s time for our bi-monthly blog party.

At today’s party, we are having fruit.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.

Note: At other Meet and Greets, guests return and leave different links to articles in different comment boxes. You are welcome to return as often as you like and leave links.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

Enjoy the food and the networking.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at our Meet and Greet, please share on your blogs and social media. The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

  1. Rowena

    Greetings All!
I’m Rowena from Beyond The Flow, which is a philosophical journey complicated by marriage, kids, mortgage and aspiring to complete the book project, travel and cook like a Masterchef. I have a bit of a gripe about blogging being seen and usually dismissed as “social media”, I much prefer the descriptor “alternative media”. What do you think?
I’m from Sydney, Australia and live in Greater Sydney on the Central Coast these days.
I’m currently planning a series set in London for the blog. Awhile back, I bought a book about London written back in the 1950s and there was a typed letter in the front outliing a walking tour through London. I am wanting to revisit this walk via Google maps. It’s a lot of fun.
Researching St Paul’s Cathedral, took me back to THE Royal Wedding between Prince Charles & Lady Diana Spencer all those years ago and inspired this post:
I look forward to meeting you.
    xx Rowena

      Hi Rowena,
I agree that alternative media is a great description. We all miss Princess Diana. She has been in my thoughts since she is on many magazines. This time of year marks the anniversary of her death.
Thank you for coming and telling us about your blog post.

  2. Anonymous

Hi all! Thanks for inviting me to your blog party. I’m simsstories13, I blog about stories I make about my little sims people from the Sims series. Currently I’m writing a generations story called The Novak Legacy. My main person hosted a party in my most recent post. He’s new in town and wanted friends. I guess that’s the theme for me this weekend as I am very shy in real life. Looking forward to checking out some new blogs, find some good reads, and hope that some will want to check out my blog also.

I’m Red O’Laughlin. I blog regularly on health and wellness. A sample is Diet and Depression – I research what goes on in the human body at the cellular level looking for cause and effect relationships. If you treat a symptom, you will always treat a symptom. You must treat the cause of a problem to correct it.

So happy to share with my Twitter followers, as always, Janice 🙂

  6. Gary Jefferies

    Hi Janice,

Hope alls well and bit late to the party, but here nevertheless! Not that my brain is keeping up with everything at present!

To those that know me not, I’m an author of cross genre fiction from horror to psychological thriller and often dipping into YA with, in my humble opinion, more than a few strong female characters. I add that because balance is important and while I have not done this through any sense of political correctness I found characters entering situations on their own from all aspects of life.

Not sure that came out as well as its argument is in my head, but I firmly believe in equality and ascension by right person for the job, so to speak.

I digress, love meeting new (to me) bloggers and engaging with them. If you pop over then expect a return visit post haste!

Have a great week all ?

  7. Lesly Federici

    Hi Janice,
Great idea! I happen to like salads with lots of spinach 🙂 I’m Lesly from PAC (Power Affiliate Club). It’s a community blog where members share their expertise on the blog. LOTS of great information for the new blogger. We have a Facebook community and right now have a 5 day challenge starting Monday … I will visit the blogs posted here … thank you so much for the invite!

  8. Lynne

    Hello Janice,

Thank you so much for hosting this party! My name is Lynne and I blog at My Family Thyme where I share recipes, DIYs, home decor, educational tips, and my love for all things “home”.

  9. Edward Thorpe

    Howdy Janice and party-people!

I’m Edward Thorpe and I’ve been a big fan of Janice & her blog for awhile. BTW, I hope she’s enjoying her time off, but I’m looking forward to her being back with more how-to tips and blogging strategies…

Anyway, as I was saying, I’m Edward Thorpe an anecdotal writer and blogger who’s all too soon, approaching his expiration date. I publish a blog focused on things of interest to us ‘lucky’ people over the age of 55.

You may think my posts wouldn’t relate to you. Yet you’re never too young to start living a healthy lifestyle – if you wanna age better than your parents. Wouldn’t that be great?

    For a random sample post:

Janice, thanks for hosting this blog sharing party. Hope you’re having as much fun as your FB posts indicate. 😉

      Hi Thelma,
It’s never too late to party! Welcome! Thanks for coming and sharing your blog with us. We hold these every other Saturday. In the meantime, you can network with the people who have left the links. Thanks for joining us.

  10. Jordana

Hi everyone. I have just started my blog about two months ago and I have just come back today from a dead computer so yay. I’m struggling a bit to find content to post. Its not turning out the way I had planned and I feel that I do not follow a particular theme and it is all over the place. I would love for some feedback and advice.
