    Hi Janice,

There are so many different WordPress tutorials online, I wish it would’ve been that way when I first started back in the day.

I have learned a lot from WP Beginner and WP101. They are great sites to learn practically anything that you need to know.

I think it’s important for every blogger to know how to do small tasks. You don’t have to learn how to code, but it sure is nice to learn the basics.

Thanks for sharing these awesome resources with us have a great day 🙂

    Susan

    Hi Janice,

Welcome back! WordPress sure gives us so much information, why not take advantage? I have to say that my favorite is Yoast. I used to waste so much time with SEO until I plugged this in. It guides me before I publish. Sometimes I think I’m good to go, but I didn’t get that green light from Yoast. Then I work on what I need to and I’m fine. I couldn’t live without it.

    Hi Janice,

This is a great list of resources for new bloggers. I’m with Susan, I wish there were tutorials like this when I first started. That would have saved me a lot of long nights learning it on my own. 😉 I’ve been to WordPress Beginner but this is the first time I’ve heard of WP101 – I’ll be checking them out for sure!

You also mentioned some of my faves like Yoast and WP Forms. 🙂

Great post Janice! Passing this one along as well.

    Happy Tuesday!

So glad! I’m always happy to help! I wanted to return the blog love and visit your site, so I just came from there. You are a strong writer. I liked the part about the gods since I teach Greek and Roman mythology.

Thanks, Janice. This is a great post for beginners and for oldy moldy bloggers who need to revisit what’s new in blogging. It has changed immensely since I started only 5 years ago. One of my favorite plugins is YOAST. I am motivated by green lights.
