Ease of publishing is so key Nirdesh, and folks overlook this fact. Themes, plug ins, branding, monetizing; all make WP a must have platform. Best CMS by far and it ain’t even close. But the ease of writing content through WP is amazing. Inspired, really. I can write and publish a post in 30 minutes or an hour if I’m cooking. Write, edit, publish and you go to market.

    Hi Janice and Nirdesh,
Thanks for the lengthy and very informative blog! I am an avid user of WordPress, because of its user-friendly features! And in the coming of its update this year (WordPress 5.0), it is bound to get more user-friendly. Yes, I totally agree that WordPress plugins are very useful, and makes life easier as an online marketer. Awesome post!

      • DD George | at 11:33 pm

        Hi Janice,
Yes, WordPress update is bound to come within June 2018 or later. The update will Include the new editor, codenamed “Gutenberg”. At the heart of the new Gutenberg editor will be a more visual editor that treats all content as “blocks”. You can drag these blocks around to quickly arrange and format them, whether it’s a list, image gallery, paragraphs etc. Each block has its own set of options to fine tune its style. Which. is why I think, will make editing in WordPress more easier.

From what I am reading, a lot of the readers are complementing WordPress as well. I think having too many choices is a good thing. It makes every site unique from each other. And as for support, I haven’t really tried consulting WordPress team directly, rather I turn to communities of bloggers who have had experienced everything there is to experience in WordPress. I think solutions are quickly responded in a community.
