Autumn Descriptive Words blog party

Welcome to Our Happy Fall Blog Party!

As my post, 5 Reasons You Should Get Out of the House, explains, fall is my favorite season. It started this week on September 21 in my part of the world.

If I were to brainstorm autumn descriptive words, they’d be something like this:

  • “Vanilla” – at this time of year people I know burn vanilla-scented candles. My daughters brew vanilla-chai tea.
  • “Coffee” – In contrast to my daughters, my mug overflows with coffee. Even my students love the aroma when I pour some from my thermos.
  • “Pumpkin” – Autumn wouldn’t be the same without our favorite pie, pumpkin pie. I find it’s perfect with coffee at breakfast time.
  • Mints – Hickory Farms Mints are sold at the mall.
  • Melodic – Holiday tunes are starting! They fill the air at stores by the end of autumn.
  • “Flannel” is another autumn descriptive word. Plaid flannel is my favorite fall fashion.
  • Boots – I can never have enough fashionable boots. Happily in fall, the weather turns cold enough for me to bring them out.

Celebrate with me!

Today’s party has food, decorations, and music.

In the comments section, you are encouraged to self-promote.

Introduce your blog to the other guests at the party. Tell the readers about your blog, and post a link to your favorite post, a recent post, your About page, your blog link, or anything you like.

I started the party by explaining that autumn is my favorite season, and I shared some autumn descriptive words. Do you agree? Can you share some autumn descriptive words with your blog post introduction?

Is fall also your favorite season? If not, what is your favorite season?

If you are not already following Mostly Blogging, I like new subscribers too.

At today’s blog party, we are having soft pretzels since soft pretzels are eaten at the German Beer Festival, Oktoberfest.

It wouldn’t be a party without music.

I’m a huge musical fan and have always loved “Try to Remember” about September from the musical “The Fantastics.”

Note: At other blog parties, guests return and leave different links to articles in different comment boxes. You are welcome to return as often as you like and leave links.

I am hoping others will be able to find new blogs to read and new bloggers to connect with.

Guests, if you think others would enjoy the networking opportunities at our Happy Fall Blog Party, please share on your social media and blogs. The more guests at the party, the more networking opportunities for all of us.

Happy Fall!

Hi Janice, thanks for the invite to your Happy Fall party.

Autumn is also my favourite season. I love the colours it brings, especially on trees and other plants. Greens turn into golden yellows, orange and browns. I’m also a big fan of Halloween. I’ve grown three pumpkins in our garden, all ready to be turned into Jack-o-lanterns.

My blog covers a wide range of subjects, although 60% of my posts are made up of blogging and social media tips. I’ve become quite well known for the number of comments my posts seem to attract, but I think that’s partly down to having a very engaging following.

    I blog at https://hughsviewsandnews.com/

My most popular post to date is – https://hughsviewsandnews.com/2019/08/26/15-blogging-mistakes-every-blogger-should-avoid/

I’ll be mentioning your blog party in an upcoming post on Monday 30th September.

    Thanks for hosting.

Thanks for hosting another blog party. My blog is mostly about experiences around the US about great people and great places. It’s by and large a travel blog with a faith-based perspective. My most recent post was about how we ate our way through Vermont. Appropriate for this party! Here’s the link: https://godsgreatworld.wordpress.com/2019/09/16/one-sweet-day-in-vermont/

Also, I write for our local town website. Here’s a post about antiquing in Searcy, Arkansas. Enjoy: https://searcy.com/the-best-flea-markets-and-antiquing-in-searcy-arkansas/

Happy Fall Blog Party Janice and all!

Autumn is all about change for me – from brilliant colors to moody skies to brisk mornings – and I love it. I’ve been working on changing up my blog as well, finally set up an opt-in freebie and mailing list after a year of thinking I can’t do this – all it took was a change of mindset! Latest post is up at https://timetraveltrek.com/exploring-albertas-historic-dunvegan/ if you’d like to check it out!

Thanks for the link to your post about blog loading speeds, John. I found it very useful and will be sharing a link to it in a blog post I’m publishing on Monday 30th Sept.

Thanks for hosting the Fall Blog Party, Janice. Fall means harvest time in my rural farming community. The combines, tractors, and wagons are rolling late into the night. In a recent post, I shared how to freeze fresh sweetcorn to enjoy all winter.

I write book reviews with a little food, family, and creative fun added to the mix. I hope you’ll take a look around and see if you find something that appeals to you. Here’s a recent book review post.

Janice, thanks for hosting the Fall Blog Party. At Delightful Repast https://www.delightfulrepast.com it’s all about food, with a smattering of tea, travel, wine, “whatever.” I have a beautiful engaged audience who leave thoughtful comments, read other readers’ comments, and generally make my little corner of the blogiverse a nice place to be. I like to do the occasional giveaway of products and kitchen equipment I actually use myself. Autumn is my favorite time of year. It’s beautiful and, most important, it’s good Baking Weather! I always respond to comments and return the visit to other bloggers.
